I Posted pics of my grow tent awhile ago and finely iv got all the gear to get started

Well this is my 1st attempt and i am already about 3 weeks into this sprout and all seems to be going well.

My plan is to veg this till its big enough to clone off (if the sprout turns out to be good) at the moment iv just got 1 CFL on it to get it off the ground, but tomorrow im going to go out and buy a bigger rockwool peice and transfer into the perlite and go into main setup.

anyway iv uploaded a couple of pictures to show u guys.
iv only got pics of the veg box at the moment but i will get some of my main setup later.

this is what i got running..


Setup:
400w Metal Halide
2 Pot Drip System (Satellite System)
Ezi Grow Tent ( 50cm x 90cm x 1.6m )
- 1x Exhaust
- 1x Intake
- 3x Passive

Grow Medium:
Rockwool, Perlite

also, if anyone could give me some advice on water timing with drip system and perlite, iv been reading and i dont know what one is best.

eg.
- 15min on, 15min off,
- 15min on every 2.5hours during light cycle and off at night

Should i just think about using Hydroton?

hey guys,

ended up moving it to the 400w, got all the drip system running, air stone etc
its going really well at the moment just need to make sure iv got the feeding times right.

also started creating a better clone box.

i will post pics of everything abit later on tonight

Hey guys.

got the pictures, the lights are off at the moment tho.
so yeah its about 4weeks old from seed.

my temp in the tent during the day/lights on is 78F with 20% humidity
night time is about 71F with 22% humidity.

i am hoping the low humidity wont be a problem but only time will tell.

iv got the drip system running for 15min every 2.5hours seems to be coping with that be have to see what happens.

anyway, some feedback would be great.

15 minutes every two hours?
does this mean your turning your light off for 15 minutes every two hours? if so why? a noob and i am just learning myself so i ask alot of questions!

I read it to say that his irrigation schedule is 15 minutes every two hours, not his lighting.

GB: As for using just hydroton, that is what I did when I messed with hydro. Looking back, I would say that a mix of hydroton and perlite should work well. Perlite will fill the gaps and make a nice environment for "fuzz" rooting. The larger roots will traveal the paths in the hydroton well.

i think its starting to "droop" from to much water?
can anyone else give me advice on this?

its now 5weeks old what do you guys think?
