WTF how did your lemon skunk turn out so crappy. Mine took off like monsters.
dude I don't know..i think it could have been the plant itself or the times i had lighting problems..or maybe it doesn't do well when plants like Trainwreck like to overtake it in the box..lol..its all good though..I think i will get a smidgen of bud off of it..but from whats on there its like almost yellow with trich's..im very jealous it didn't bulk up..i probably will grow it again sometime..i can't wait to get my super lemon haze growing..that should fulfill my lemon needs..

hey everybody! just wanted to get some opinions..i checked the trichs this weekend on all my plants and the trich's are still clear..how much longer do you think i have?..like 2-3 more weeks? just curious because I would like to do another feeding or so if I have time..I am sitting at around 8 weeks now..but early in flowering I had the light issues and I am thinking with that happening is the reason why all my trich's are still clear..and the buds are still growing..just want to maximize my buds..but also not jeapordize the taste with a to long/too short flush..thanks!..

You can probably keep feeding at least one more time if they are clear, but do you have any pics b/c that would really help the decision making. How are the pistils turning? Even though you wanna go by trichs, the whole picture kind of helps. 8 weeks sounds like a good time to start considering a flush, but at the same time, most plants don't finish on schedule.

Alright my fellow ladies and gents..how is everyone doing?...its been past due for a good picture show and update of my grow...so as of now I am sitting around week 9 and have been flushing for about a week...i plan to do some harvesting this week sometime..but I am not sure if I will harvest all my plants...the only one I may wait on is 1 of the 2 Southern Skunks..it may not show up as well as i'd like it too..but i noticed today a lot of the calyx's are starting to turn purple..and its definetly not due to cold temps at night..straight genetics..so I am pretty excited about that...so here is a little description and the pics..

Here is the infamous Strawberry Cough..it is covered in crystals and has surprised me with its production compared to what its seed description informed..the smell is ridiculously awesome..i could hold it to my nose all day..as ive described before..very strawberry creamish smell..

Next is the Infamous "Southern Skunks"..for those who haven't read earlier in my thread I planted two of these beans in the same pot..which were given to me from a great friend..the seeds are some of the prettiest beans ive ever seen..my intentions where to hopefully have atleast one female..but how fortunate they both where female which I was going to pull one anyone..but I am very glad i didnt..they both are two diff. phenos..one is a monster producer and has the calyxes that are turning puprle..the other has stayed very short and has almost a deep coffee scent skunk to it..I am excited for both..the big purple calyx one has a very unique berry/tang/skunk smell..i love to smell it too...

Ok next is my poor little GH Lemon Skunk..for the most part is has been the least producer and acted funny the whole grow...but oh well..surprisingly the last couple weeks it has really grown some nice bud sites..and they are absolutely covered in a yellow tinted cyrstals..i now know why its called lemon skunk...plus is smells very lemony skunk...i would love to grow this strain again and get a great yeild..

last but not least is my biggest producer the GH Trainwreck...this plant has really filled out...the main cola's have some of the biggest calyxes ive seen..very pretty plant..the smell is a skunky/medicinal smell...unique as well..but i like it..the buds are bigger looking than the weight of them really is...more of a fluffy fat bud..and the coloring is awesome..

so here they are as of now..I will probably just do an update next time of trimmed buds and ect...and I will keep an update on that one southern too because I think if i give it another week it will turn out beautiful! thanks to all..have a great week~

No it's not dead yet, I've just been away for a few days. Your nugs look good man, should have a nice harvest ahead of you. I think i spy a seed in your trainwreck. Did your gals go hermie or did you pollinate them on purpose?

lol thanks! yeah I harvested today but I will do the post tomorrow..i took a bunch of pics..but i am too wiped out to start that update...but yeah it is going to be a great harvest..and btw..i thought I saw some seeds on the Trainwreck too..but they are just fat calyxes..very wierd how they resemble seed pods though...i opened up a couple just to be sure and sure enough it was just more calyxes growing...hows things with you?

Well all my friends..the time has come..bountiful Harvest time! Whoot woot..
So I harvested yesterday evening and as much as it was a sad day..it was even more a good day..it took me over an hr to trim up my plants...the whole process of clean up and hanging it took me about three hrs...

To recap my 3rd grow it was Strawberry Cough, Trainwreck, Lemon Skunk, and Southern Skunk..aka..the Hog...

I vegged for about a month..then flowered all my plants for almost 10 weeks..

I used Fox Farm Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom during flowering and flushed the last 2 weeks of the grow..

Here is my individual thoughts of the Strains and Pics

Greenhouse Lemon Skunk

This was my most anticipated strain for this grow...the word "lemon" just appeals to me for some reason...yummy..unfortunately this strain produced the least of bud for me compared to the others in this grow..from the start it was the "runt"..but I am very surprised how much weight it packed on the last couple weeks...filled out a lot better than I thought it would..but still a low yield..the smell is simply amazing..a very deep dank skunk smell..that lemon tint to it..i can smell it over and over..the trichs almost appear to have a yellow tint..i would love to grow this again and get a better yield..although my next about to grow outside is GH Super Lemon Haze..so I will hope it has a better yield..

Southern Skunks

Again these where some of the prettiest beans I have seen..big fat olive dark..with distinct dark stripes down them..i grew 2 of these in one pot..ended up with both females so I kept them both..and I am very glad I did..there are two pheno's..one pretty much was a runt and was overtaken by the other one..but it has a deep skunk smell and the cola's where pretty small..my favorite pheno produced me so mad-sized buds..the main two where so heavy they bent the stems...but they also smell amazing..like a tarty fruity clean smell..i can smell it over and over..and what was cool as well as during the flush alot of the calyxes started turning purple-ish..I think these will dry/cure to be some beautiful buds..I will post pics on the cured buds later..so all props to my friend who gave me these..I am stoked that I still have some of these seeds left..great great genetics!!

Greenhouse Trainwreck

This plant along with the Strawberry Cough had the most overall growth during veg and flowering..but it scored 1st Place in my book for overall yield ..the buds are some of the prettiest I have grown..one thing I noticed unique about this strain was it grew really detailed big calyxes..some have asked me if those where seed pods..but nope they are calyxes..and they kept growing all the way up to Harvest..matter of fact on of the cola's has one that appears as a nipple..lol..so in my book..grow the Trainwreck!!..cant wait to try some cured bud..

Strawberry Cough

This was another strain I awaited eagerly to arrive in the mail..the name itself is enticing...this plant from the start was very very hearty..fast vegging plant..I had to top here early just to control some the growth compared to the others..i really loved how some of the bud sites at the inter-nodes really filled in with some very fat thick lil buds...this plant was one of the first to really start frosting over..if you can look deeper into the buds they are just covered in crystals..the smell is absolutely incredible..out of all my plants this grow I would give this one 1st Place for overall smell..it is such a creamy-strawberry smell..like..strawberries n cream..mmm mmm..I could literally have one of the buds dangling in my face all day..this plant probably came in 3rd place for yield..but as you read its description for the strain it even says that..

So there we are everyone! I will give some good smoke reports with pics of dried/properly cured buds..so that will be a about a month from now total..but thanks for everyone's help and encouragement through this 3rd "Indoor" grow of mine..hope everyone enjoys the pics..
