my 1st grow

well this all started with me buying a closet kit off ebay, and gettin 6 seeds from the attitude seed bank, 5 skunks that i got for free and 1 church fem. i wanted 2 try my hand at growin my own i was tired of buyin pot for 15$ a gram. i got the seeds super fast!! 6 days later!! i highly recomend attitude. my seeds came in a t shirt pocket. the grow kit took a little over 2 weeks but when it got here i decided to grow bag seeds for my 1st grow and then grow my seeds from attitude after i got some xperence so i set the tent up. i used the paper towel method and a few days later i put the seedlings in coco husk and i let them do their thing at about week 2 i started givin nutes 2 em every other day well they didnt like that 2 much they all died but 1 so i said fuck it i am gonna grow my $ seeds this time i bought a germ tray and put them in a mix of mg (moisture control),coco, and perlite, after they sprouted i transplanted them in grow bags and put them outside for a few days i was concered about the moisture in the tent it had said it was low all the time so b4 i put the new plants in the tent i want 2 get the moisture up. so i went 2 kmart and bought a 10$ fan and a 30$ hummidifer the hum. jumped up 2 25-30 with the light on so i put them in the tent as for the last plant from the 1st at. i flushed it and hoped for the best. i decided to name all the plants the survivor i have named plant A the others R church has its own name jim norton, rudy, keith,bob,and ed r the skunk seeds ed didnt make it a day in the tent that makes 10 plants that have died on me out of 16 not a good % please feel free 2 comment and help me in any way u can i kinda just jumped in ill try 2 keep this updated and post pics as much as possible

church died and bob was a male so we are down to 3 left the first one is rudy and next one is jimmy norton the last one is keith i don't know what that one is yet we are 3 weeks in to flowering i don't know what is ging on with the leaves but i guess they are doing ok

is the mg you talk about up there Miracle grow soil? (does it have any nutes in it?). 99.999% of every thread i have seen miracle grow soil in has been a disaster from nute burn.

The pic of your church (rest its soul) looks pretty stretched, are your lights close enough?

Anyways those were old posts. Are things looking better for seedlings now days?

And wow lol woot those leaves are insane lol. Did the leaves always look like that? thats like the poster child of a sativa description

long narrow leaves lol. Anyways man if they looked like that even in the veg stage too bad you dont have a clone of that that would make for a pretty stealth outdoor strain

Ok from what I notice there is much improvement you can make to get better results from what you are getting now.

First thing I notice is that your light is too far away. You can see this by the way the plants are stretching for light.

Also being that you are utilizing a closet type grow, you definitely want to invest in a way to vent the heat from the light. Personally I would have went with a cooltube, or vented hood.

I believe your temps are probably way to hot in that setup.

I wouldn't worry about humidity. When plants veg you definitely don't want high humidity.

You never said anything about ventilation either. If that is a grow tent you got from ebay then it should be set up for you to install one.

And the last thing I would say is that you don't need to fertilize them while they are so young. I can definitely see nuteburn on the plants.

Anyway take some more pics of the tent you have or post a ebay link of the same one. I can give you more advice on how to setup your tent so you can achieve better results

keico yes i have a 4' inline fan for ven plus the tent has vent holes all around it. i have the temp around to 70-80 f i did not add nutes to this second batch of plants but i did to the 1st and u see plant A of course it died along with the rest that didnt make it keith is a little shorter than the other 2 i am going to go with fox farm with my next grow because the mir gro has burned the plants i belive i am 5 to 6 wks away from harvest what do u think? i did get a few clones but i am not expecting much out of them also i will prob put them outdoors i have a couple of spots. also the biggest problem i have had as of late is the plants growing too tall. i might should have flowered sooner but it is was it is. now i have had to tie down the branches on jim and rudy they have gotten up to the light. also i am pretty sure the plants i have left r females i am not 100% on this take a look and let me know what u think. the light i have to go with for now it came with the kit and i cant put any more $$ in 2 a light at this time
