Well that is definitely some sativa brand plant you are growing, and they do look like they are doing well. Sativas are known for there skinny leaves and grow very tall. It is definitely a great idea to tie them down. I am also glad to see that you have a inline fan to give some ventilation. I would definitely start to sex them now. They are showing that they are mature enough. I use miracle grow now, because it is all that is available where I live, but after this grow I will be traveling to a nursery to get some fox farm. I would say you look good for now. The plants look very healthy. Also what type of light system are you growing. |

Nice looking grow. A QP from 2 plants might be stretching it a bit though. The fat nugs shrivel like raisins when you dry.

You can get a QP from two plants. I have 3 growing now that are easily going to give me 2 Z's a piece. (knock on wood) I do LST. You can see one of my 3 here > The Great RIU LST Thread. Low Stress Training

Ohhhh hard water? That could definitely be your prob, if its really hard. At the very least its a contributing factor. I was at home depot the other day and saw they have free water test kits. The kind where you send a sample to the lab....might be worth a look. Just a thought before I pass out....

The yellowing is a sign of nitrogen defiency but it is normal to have some leaves yellowing during the flowering period. They will eventually fall off. As long as most of the plants leaves are green then you are ok. I really don't think that miracle grow soil is the problem. I use the same soil and my plants are doing great. Just never start seeds in miracle grow as the soil has too many nutrients and can burn the young seedlings. A simple soil with zero nutrients is great for seedlings. Start with the seedling starters cubes. Once they have sprouted transfer them to a smaller pot with the simple soil. Once they have grown root bound then you can transfer to a larger pot with the miracle grow soil. Just go easy on the nutrients always start off with half strength and you will be ok. I do also see a lot of stretching will tells me the plants are to far away from the light, probably when they were younger. Invest in a cool tube so you can get the light as close to the plants as possible, and that will take care of the stretching. It will all work out |
