Default Need help with lighting

Ive been reading on sites that if you leave you lights on for 18 hours or over, the plant wont flower or bud until 4 to 5 months. So if i want them to bud asap lessen the lighting hours. Ive been keeping the on for 24/0 there about 2 inch.

i plant wouldnt flower or bud under 18hrs of light period(unless autoflower). When you start 12/12 they will start flowering, unless it is a seedling then it will veg until it is ready to flower.
