wow, sick!!! Your plant is superb! What a nice main cola. I think topping or fimming isn't a good move with those - lets make her invest all her energy in the main cola!

That is time for an update here.
Of my 2 initial Pakistan Ryders, one died. I made some major mistakes, like overwatering, changing growing medium etc. The other plant, the ugly one, began to grow a little faster. I trimmed her roots last week... trimmed about 1 inch of her roots, replanted her and after 4 days showing no signs of grow I had watered her with lots of fresh water. Next day it turned out a healthy-looking bitch. *NEW PLANT* Last Sunday my 3rd and last feminized Pakistan Ryder seed cracked after 30 hours germinating in paper towel. I planted it sunday: it is on day 3 since the seed cracked and is looking great. it is taller thank the other 2 week old plant, and its leafs are growing wild! This time I added a LOT of perlite in the soil mix, maybe 60% perlite. I think this made a big improvement in my ultra compact soil, letting the roots breathe. I'm still using 6 CFLs and wont change the setup this soon. Using 20/4 photoperiod. Pictures soon!

I ovewatered badly the first 2 plants in their early days. One died.
So i took the other one, and saw the tips of the roots beginning to rot... i trimed the rot. Its growth stunted, but now it took off after some NPK 8-8-8 light feeding and a better oxygenated soil ![]() Thanks for the tip, guys! The other plant, the one planted last Sunday is growing like mad, it will eventually pass the root-trimmed one, I Think. I had put 1'' of big perlite rocks at the botton of the bucket, and lots of small sized perlite in the soil mix. Looking good so far....

The all important PH
I took a while to post here again... it's time for news. My oldest plant is 25 days old (from sprout). It is the one I cut the root tips. The week after I cut it's root tips, it began to grow nicely, but afterwards it's growth just STUNTED. It stoped, literally for more than 1 week. The other one is 12 days old from sprout. It leafs are bigger than the first one, but its color is a very light green while the first one is dark green and looks more healthy. The thing is: yesterday I made a PH test of my tap water, the water i use to feed them. It's PH was 8.6!!!!!!!!! No wonder why the f***ers dont grow. So, I made a mix of tap water and a little bit of vineager and PH tested it: 6.2 So.... I poured the 6.2 water over the soil of both and to my surprise they "waked up" bigger this morning! The 25 day-old even grew a new branch and developed its first set of BIG fan leafs. Those leafs were tiny the day before. The plant i cuted the root tips is growing perfectly, but it is SMALL!! I think I just made a BONSAI CANNABIS PLANT without ever knowing it! LOL!!! I understood the importance of PH... I have a nice advantage - my brother has a degree in agronomy! lol! He said the ideal PH is between 5.5 and 6.5 for most bud-producing plants. He also instructed me that Boron is always underlooked - when the plant is in vegetative growth, the more N and Boron, the better, since those elements work together providing foliage growth and health. I apologize for not posting pictures since my first post. Hope this weekend I can finally post some! As a side note: I'm finally working on a grow box. I have it 50% done. It's small, with good air intake and exhaust and made with white plywood (don't know how its called in English, it is like a "plastic" cover over one of the plywood sides. Formic?). Cheers!

Yo Dan, thanks, its called "formica" for sure.
Here are some pictures. Any input on how they look would be much appreciated. Oh, today I bought a negative ion mercury bulb, a spiral CFL-looking bulb that eliminates odors and repels insects, don't know if it will work well tough...I will test it and post results here. 26 days old feminized Pakistan Ryder p14.jpg 13 days old p15.jpg 26 days old p8.jpg 26 days old p4.jpg 13 days old p1.jpg 13 days p11.jpg 13 days p16.jpg da mess p10.jpg 26 days old p12.jpg 13 days old p9.jpg 26 days p3.jpg 13 days p2.jpg 26 days p6.jpg 26 days p5.jpg my mess again p13.jpg
