Alright so this is the new grow journal, i will be growing in a secret Jardin Dr150 with a 1000wHps and two 6" inline fans as ventilation, water phd at 6...when up to temp the tent sits at about 95F...this time around updated will be weekly with daily pics....so here is week 1

Howdy Bublonichronic!

I haven't got a crop belt yet but according to what I have been reading dude, isn't your temp too high? I have the same matter sometimes but things just slow down a bit. I read that we should never be up 90F, may be wrong, check around....

I'll keep an eye on your journal...

yea its hot, but its cooler than it was....i just dont want to go back to the 400w

alright guys this is what i like to call week 2 (days 8-14) from sprouting out of soil, or as i like to call there "birthday"...Red Diesels are growing like theyre mad at the pots theyr in and i couldnt be happier since i got my temps in my flower room way down to a steady 88F thanks to the STANLEY BLOWER FANS super powers (at a super price)....Also picked up some FF Ocean Forest soil to repot them in, got them in MG now i think it will be good for them cause the rootball will have constant supply of nutes for 3 mths...just a theory of mine, prolly a dumb one tho

Mg soil isnt the best, there is a high risk of nute burning your plants. You cannot flush the soil because more nutes will just be brought out. If you harvest when there is still nutes in the soil it will make the pot taste bad.

Personally i would order some quality soil and then replant those suckers.

Although its not neccasary it would reduce risk of something going wrong later in the grow.

Your temps are very high, a 1000w in a small tent like that is probably overkill but will give you some fat nugs if all goes well.

I would try playing with your setup a bit more see if you can make it more efficient. If you can keep that temp down to about 80 would be ideal.

Can you post pics of your setup see if there is anything people can help with.

If your are only growing 3 plants i would highly suggest LSTing those bad boys. Its so simple and can greatly improve your yeilds.

Edit: Just re read about the MG, ignore what i said about that. How far away is the light? If you put a fan blowing between the light and the canopy you can get it a lot closer, acts a little bit like air cooled reflectors.

alright alright, maybe i knew the MG wasnt so good for them but i was to cheap to buy good soil up until a couple days ago

and just lookin at the glass half full...but maybe you could help me with something, what exactly is LSTing i see people talking about it but im not sure how to do it or what exactly it does...<- (my newbiness is showing)

LST = Low Stress Training
It's when you tie the plants out in certain directions to improve branching, growth, exposure, etc. I use it to open my plants up, and when combined with some topping or fimming, can really help to increase yield.
