So this is my first grow attempt. hoping for the best.

using seeds from my friends bud so dont really know the strain nor the type (was hoping for a good sativa at the beginning but now its looking more indica)

lights: two T12 GE plant & aquarium florescent lights with one cool white 20W clf and one regular 23W clf.

started germination with about 15 seeds on jan 10th.
got just about 14 of them to sprout but only kept 7 of the 14 that sprouted.
the pictures will tell the rest of the story.....

haha k so i totally got distracted when i made this thread. but i got some time now so here it goes, a brief overview in pictures of my grow up to current day....

Feb 1st.

this is two days after i transplanted them from the cups to the pots that they remained in for the rest of the grow.

i also hooked up the large fluoros here.
it should also be noted that i got rid of two plants and of the 7 that were kept, there are 5 remaining.

when i said 5 left i really meant 6 in total but 5 healthy ones. there was one weakling (kinda like the runt of the pact that was kept just to see how it would grow in comparison to the others.

Here one plant is pictured twice. I had gotten rid of the weakest two plants again and am from the 5 survivors (6 in total counting the runt) to 4 strong plants.

More strong growth. all four pictured here but the last one is off color. the smell started to get bad at this point so i enlisted the aid of some odor removing gels from bed, bath, & beyond.

So the smell got really bad and i wasnt sure what to do so along with the fact that the plants were growing very fast and wide, i decided to remove another plant. also, one was really shooting up more than the others so i decided to experiment LST with it. wasnt that great of a success but learned much and there is more documented evidence later on.....

So here are some pictures of my LST experiment. as you can see the plant got very lanky so figured it was the right one to experiment with.
