Well a couple plants that i transplanted from dwc to soil have died, about 5 of them. I've pulled those but I've got alot on my hands anyways for my third grow. A friends givin me a couple germinated seeds so I can do a couple new things. I made a dope little 2 litre bubble bottle and it kicks ass. Here's a pic of the new layout.

I've also pinched the 3 larger plants. Here's one, before and after:

I'd have to say that pinchin is hugely effective and the extra light that gets through the plant is immensely beneficial.

Yo it's been a week since I've taken pics and I snapped some tonight. My dad cracked the whip on the 1000w light so i'm goin to hella cfls overnight and moving the plants into window sunlight through a large south facing window. This should probably work great for vegetative.
The plant i accidentally broke while pinching has perfectly healed and the entire stem is now double the width! Their all trained low and extremely bushy with lots of shoots

alright roots not really, I think it might have choked, somehow my valve got closed on the bubbles for who knows how long

I've taken a bunch of hydroton and used it on the top to keep moisture.

haha love the ghetto box Did the dad get the bill for the light and ? I'll be curious to see how things go...do you plan on keeping the dwc (thats what I grow) We got the same airstone haha...got mine at PetCo. Now I am a big hydro guy but I'd say you should really look into dwc or something simple like that with the setup you got going...do you have a closet you could grow in?

Yo man thanks for droppin' by, I've got one good plant goin in dwc, a bubble bucket i put together. its got 3 of the gnarly green airstones in it. I accidentaly drowned one plant by running the air off a splitter and somehow it shut him out I'm down from about a dozen plants to six, 2 wicked indicas and a sativa in soil. A dwc and one-to-be-dwc. Haha I put a little seedling between the coffee pot and fridge LOL

I don't think it needs a pump yet it's gonna take a few days to root, please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't wanna lose another! Anyway, it's an awesome feeling when you got weed growin all over the house...
Today, here are my plants enjoying their second day of real sunshine although it was overcast.

The smaller dwc is now without water in a pot full of hydroton in hopes that it might be able to breathe again with light occasional watering. The Air Pump is inside 2 netpots taped together to promote airflow, wrapped in tarp so I can leave it out overnight and is also under decent cover.

I unplug the hose from the lid and plug the plant into a seperate setup inside! Pretty dope havin a dwc on the deck bubblin away while we're boggin away! *blub blub blub*
So my plan of action is, in the morning i shut off the cfls and throw my plants out back on the deck. they love every bit of natural sunshine. At whatever hour the sunlight is insufficient, they go inside, overnight under these; 2 monstrous (occassionaly 3) 45w Cool Whites and 4 40w 2700k's.

How old do my plants look? Mind you this ghei camera doesn't do justice to the training and resulting shape and size of these stems. I'll have to get a real good one. I think their at least a month, and a day.
