I've recently been away working again for a week and they were put under a 600w metal halide just as I left for the last good veg out and man oh man have they filled out, I'll post fresh pics this evening, also to add a note; they're getting put into flowering today (12/12) so I'm expecting some radical changes over the next 8-10 weeks, as usual picture updates will be as regular as allows.

Well today is the day the fun really begins, I've had 8-9 weeks veg and I'm looking to do the same for flowering, the 600w metal halide bulb has been replaced with a 600w High Pressure Sodium bulb and the contacter/timer has been set to 12/12 at a time that's convenient for me and the feed has had Rhizotonic reduced to a small amount and bloom and PK13/14 has been introduced also, as I said before the cana website has a feed planner for your desired quantities.

Here's some photos of the plants under the much more orange and far less blue light for flowering; note the size after a week of being under a 600w metal halide instead of a 250w! I'd like to add that when the switch was made from a 250w to a 600w metal halide bulb in the final week or so of veg the timer was introduced at a setting of 18/6 (Light/Dark)

I personally can't stand wall mart but you need a 250w metal halide , 600w also plus a 600w high pressure sodium with ballast. Enjoy.

OK, the most recent addition to the set up besides the switch to 12/12 with a digital ballast and a 600w High Pressure Sodium bulb was the installation of an intake fan with ducting and old tights (NOT MINE!) as a foreign object screen, I shall be updating with fresh photos later today so I'll be sure to to put some of the intake and fan speed controller in there too, the idea for the intake was to help the temperature and humidity stay a little lower and provide the plants with a good bit more air to suck up, the exhaust fan has been set a slightly higher speed as to create negative pressure within the tent so that a good amount of good clean air is flowing through constantly. things are really looking up with these plants now and the growth rate is currently quite pleasing; averaging around an inch a day so hopefully this will continue for a little longer and then we'll have some MAMMOTH bud sites on the way.

Great to hear from you Yammoth, I'll get it looked into for you and we'll have a chat about it.

Another addition to the grow set up will be added tonight in the way of an envirolight, this is a 125w bulb that plugs straight into the mains without the need for a ballast and should hopefully make for some good under lighting as it kicks out very little heat and a great deal of light. I shall post some more pictures tonight.
