Hawaii med grow indoor

Ok here we go. I orderded some seeds from nirvana. Got all my nutrients from advanced nutrients my tent came today so im all set. Im growing big bud, haze, and 2 from the indoor mix. Im veging under flouresent now but will be switching to my 400 watt hps in a day or so. I do want to switch to a 600 before long. If you have any coments feal free. Ill post pics as I go along.

the only thing i don't like about the islands is the cost of electricty...

The electric can be high but at over $450 an oz its still cheaper.

any plans for back up power in case the islands power goes out for a day or 2?

hows the outdoor scene - no more green harvest soon, yeah? fuckers need to worry about the ice coming from the philipines!!!!

funny you should mention that it just went out tonight but for like 5 min only. I don't have ant plans if power goes out but in in Fox farm ocean forest. so I dont have to worry about pumps. If the lights go out I have a sunny window I can use.

here are some new pics. I changed my mind and im not going to do soil after all. I go out of town now and then and dont have anyone I would trust to water for me. So im going with a DWC setup. I saw a post here some time ago and did some checking and I think its the best way to go for me. So I went to the grow store and picked up a few things as well as a stop at wal-mart. See what I made.....It was easy just got a 10gal tote, air stone and a pump (it came with a check valve) and your net pot. A bit of cutting, some drilling and done. I still need to get some silicone to stick down the airstone then im gona run it.

Thanks for the tip I thought about that and made the hole for the airline at the top so my water level will max out at about 4" from the top. I also was planning on having 2 in each tub and if you look in the pic you can see that I had it marked off for the 2 but I didnt like hoe close the plants would be as they got bigger so I went with one.
