I've done almost exactly what you're doing there, except with buckets instead of bins.

It work amazing, you're gonna be so happy.

Your bin holds more than a 5gal bucket (it's a 10 gallon bin, right?)

One of those UPS they use with computers would probably keep the pump going for a little while if the power goes out, but I dunno how long it would last.

What are you using for light? Nutes?

Yes the totes are 10 gal but I have 8gal of water as the pots hang down. For food im using advanced nutrients. Its pricey but works great. I had $600 worth when the new job in Hawaii came up. I couldnt just toss it so I put it on a boat with my lights and such. I had 900lb of crap to ship and it was mostly grow stuff. Lights fans etc. For light im using a 150watt cfl for the seedlings but will move to my 430 hps when I get back home. Im in seattle now then going to chicago then back on sunday. I also have a few of my seeds that i going to trade with a buddy in chicago and I ordered some from attitude last night. Now Ill have about 15 strains in my collection So now I dont know what to grow. Oh and of the 6 I had going only 1 of the indoor mix and one of the haze make it none of the big bud sprouted hell when I pulled open the rockwool to see what the fuck was going on the seed had some fuzz on it I can only guess was mold. Never had that happen before so Im not sure what I did wrong. I really dont think it was me but it could be. Ill post some pics on monday when I get back home.

how's it? im from the big island...do u have to run ur A/C 24 hours a day? im growing with a 600w and 1000w. those suckas heat up like a howle bitch. U know any alternatives for one A/C?

I havent had the 400 up and running yet so I dont know what the heat will be like but im sure I can address it.

are you venting the reflectors/are they sealed ?

Yes my hood is sealed and has a fan pulling out the hot air. Like I said I havent put it up yet but I ran the came thing at my old house and never had any temp proplems so I think Ill be ok

did u get fem. seeds from nirvana or just regular? Someone wrote to me that im pretty much a kook cause i didnt get all fem. seeds. If my growing coditions are prime will i be likely to get more females than males even without having fem. seeds?

Nope i didnt waste the money on all fem its not worth it. You only need to get one then its all clones
