Welcome to my dwc grow. This is my first attempt at hydro. I've done outdoor soil grows before but am looking to move indoors. This grow will be expanding as funds allow.

I've got one plant about 5 weeks old from seed going and just sprouted 10 more seeds i got out of 2 different kinds of good hi-grade bags. 3 of the 10 were the only 3 seeds found in a really dank Oz, And the other 7 where from a bag of obviously poorly grown middle grade, we'll see how it turns out. I've got 4 beans from a bag of some dank purple stuff i had. I'll be popping those once i get my HPS light in the near future.

I'm using a homemade DWC 10 gallon tub for the one plant at the moment, and the other 10 little guys are in rockwool waiting for their own bubble buckets. Right now i've got them under 10, 26 watt CFL's. I'll be purchasing a 400 watt HPS very soon and will be adding 600 watters from there on out. Plan on building a table and setting up a drip system for a moderate SOG grow. I'm growing these plants out to find some potential mothers, Will be looking at quaility and growing characteristics during flower to find a good SOG candidate.

Well i'll quit rambling and post up some pics.

Here's my girl (i hope) at 4 weeks, She was in a little bit of a rough state! i was out of town since she was a sprout and had someone taking care of it, they just followed simple instructions and it worked ok decently.




I've since moved it out of that 42 gallon tub into a 10 gallon one. I'll be putting my babbies in that one as soon as i get a HPS light. Yes i have taken down the foil, as i had a few hotspots on leafs.

As you can see she looks alot better after just 1 week. I think i've got the nutes dialed in. But i ordered a TDS meter today. So i'm excited about that. Once i get another light, i'm going to take a few clones then put it into flower.

I'm wondering if i should take some HUGE clones and basically make this one plant into 5-7 decent sized plants, once they're nice and rooted put them all into flower. What do you guys think? Is taking very large clones a bad idea? I think it would greatly increase yeild from my first harvest.

I have to say, growing for me is such a blast! i absolutely love it. I could do it all day and love my life. lol. I've got some shrooms fruiting right now, i'll post up some pictures of that if people are interested. I'll be getting a better camera soon, so come flowering time i'll be able to get some nice clear budshots, and take some nice macro images. Anyone is welcome to chime in and critique me or just say what's up.

Cool shit kevin, I promise i won't disappoint and you guys will see some fat nugs. I'm going to be ordering some beans when i can. Plan on getting Train Wreck, Blueberry Skunk, and some Afghani Kush, Plus i'll grow out whatever freebie beans i get. I can't wait to sprout the seeds i got from the Purple Oz of stuff a friend had. I've got a nice room with ample space to work with, 12x24ft. Plans to build some SOG tables, bring in an A/C, suppliment Co2. Baby steps right now. Won't have too much money to play with untill a few weeks from now, but it'll get done.
