I can definitly tell that there is some sativa mixed in there. My last grow was more of a ball of leaves then a tree.

As you can see, it has grown alot since the last time I updated.
I am still debating on how long I want to vegg her though.

Does any one have any recomendations on when to start to flower her?

I just cleaned out my res, and rearranged the setup so that I have more room when I start to flower. This gives me about 3 extra feet for it to top out.

Here are some pics of the changed setup, and while I had the chance, I took some pics of the roots. They look healthy

Dude that plant is very interesting. Looks like its going to be one solid cola. Not much branching on it that i can see. Id take some clones off her if it is a her and start a mini sog.

Yeah, I am really looking forward to this. I think that I am going to vegg a little longer. I just took a little off the top to encourage two main colas. That is really all the topping I am going to do because I want to see the results my self.

Also, as far as pruning goes, do you think it could use a trim to help some of those other stalks have a chance to grow up?

No man i wouldnt go and start trimming yet. Keep ur light as close as possible (without) doing damage and allow the lower sites to catch up man.
When u do go to flower. And if it does end up a girl.. I would reccomend especially on this plant. To take at least the bottom 1/4 of the stems off once u get it sexed.(see Pistils)Clone the cutting's and be all set for next grow man.
Dont remove any fanleaves right now man thats whats feeding ur soon to be stem (cola sites). Matter of fact if ur going to allow a stem site to go to harvest always allow that fan leaf located directly below it or theres no sence allowing it to bud. The fans feed the bud.
With that plant tho im not sure I would have even topped it. I think u have a nice SOG or XMAS tree (Main Cola) top plant on ur hands.

Ahh, good to know. I knew that the fan leaves played an important role in the health of the plant as a whole, but I never knew it affected the bud that much.

Also, while I got ya here, let me make sure I understand the feedind.

So for vegging, you want a mostly N mixture, something like 6-3-6. and for Flowering I want a mostly K like 3-12-2? Or was us P potasium?

N for grow bro. As soon as my roots start hitting the water i give them GROW nutes. As well as Liquid Karma (Humic Acid) for root developement. LK also Contains P/K and they say its good to start ur plants off by Giving them P/K early on cause it helps them develop hormones that are neccesary when it comes time for sexing them.
Most Main Grow nutes also Contain P/K. U dont really need the liquid karma. Ive only recently started using it.
Week 2 I do a 2:1 mix Grow/Flower and my PPM are usually around 750 average at this time. More like between 6-900.
Week 3 if they make it that long ive recently been all the way to 1200 PPM with no Ill effects and I went 50/50 on the Grow and Flower nutes i believe.

The most important thing in feeding is watching and keeping ur PH steady @ 5.8 bro.
Dloing this it will allow ur plants to actually use what they want and need when they want or need it.

PH bro. If ur not sure how to feed keep ur ph proper and read the directions on ur nute bottles. Just try to follow the ppm schedule i gave u and u should be fine.

oh really? nice!. Well to late to un top it, so when I clone this gal I'll let it keep the main stalk, and see what it does.

i use fozen bottles and keeping my res temps in 60"s. cheap and quick

not so much. I would rather put some effort into 1 project that will let me be lazy. Then to have to get up off my lazy ass go get a ice bottle out of the freezer, and replace the one in the tank. lol.

Update time




So as you can see, this little gals is really going to have a decent amount of bud sites with all of those tops coming up.

Still looking very green, and healthy with a nice canopy forming.

I seriously cannot wait until she is ready to start flowering.

looks like they loving the light....looking good.. when u gonna start flowering?

I am not sure, I have been trying to decide if I want to do it now, or wait a little longer. I may wait another week or so because I am short on nutes, and I have to order them in because they are hard to find down here.

What do you think, Should I start to flower as soon as I get my refills on plant food ?
