I think overall there are a few factors that go into how much interaction you
get from others regarding your journal. I myself started one...I think I have decided to not worry about it for now and I will just ask specific questions on the general grow forums if I can't find a clear answer via searching.
Anyhow here are the things that attract attention:
1.) If you are VERY knowledgeable and can use your grow journal to TEACH
others things they don't already know. Folks love to learn new stuff.
2.) Large grows = large amounts of attention. Everyone loves to see those
giant rooms or fields of colas.
3.) Generally speaking, you will get more attention when your grow is in
the flowering stage ( although not ALWAYS ). Everyone loves big giant
buds covered in crystals....mmmm crystals..
4.) The strain(s) you are growing will attract others who are growing the
same thing. Also,if you grow a really nice strain, or something that is
currently " in", you will get more attention that say, a boring oldy.
You gain extra points if your strain is purple or white , or if the buds
are any color aside from green . ( not really but kinda.)
5.)Folks like big, high quality pictures of buds. The more great pics
throughout your journal, the more traffic you will get.
Don't forget- if you are rather "new" to a forum such as this , it will take
some time for ppl to get to know ya.
Good luck on your grow. Don't sweat the journal- do it for yourself and you can't go wrong.
