This is my first grow journal and im new to this forum how ever im always willing to learn... Please refrain from telling me all the benefits of HPS OR MH LIGHTING as this is not an otion under any circumstance in my case... although yes they probably are a little or even a lot better

This is gonna be a semi stealth closet grow.

Seeds - Bubblegum, THC Bomb, Ice, and mix that i got from seed bank as a bonus

Lights - 2 40W 4500ºK 48" (Cool White)
1 20W 5500ºK 24" (Plant AQUA)
2 26W 6500ºK CFL (Daylight)
1 26W 3500ºK CFL (Warm White)
1 13W BLUE *Party bulb*
*If any one knows the color spectrum and or temp of this blue light please let me know*

Soil - Miricle Grow Organic

Nutes - None Yet ( too Young)
Veg- GREEN GREEN and or general 20-20-20 diluted to half
Flower - Shultz African Violet Food 8-14-9

plants are 10 days from sprouting please help me identify as i smoked a Joint before hand and forgot to label

Pots - Peat cups for now
(takes 45 min drive to go to any Store of any kind where i live)

Please make any recomendations as you see fit

Today day 11 2-28-09
Pix included Waterd twice today.
Kinda Warm so watered twice cups dry untill now.
Transpated one plant yesterday into rockwool and a wick system in my back yard.


SOME 1 Please comment on my little grow im looking for a little comparison as i've never grown "Purchased Seeds" before

Bought Several more CFL's and waterproof outdoor sockets.
Also picked up 2 1.5 watt LED white bulbs... (says replaces 40 W.... just for fun to add a little light...)

If LED no good for growing .... will put in rest of house to reduce overall energy consumption..... a good idea for any home grower....

been on vacation.... since last post.... plants had a severe underwatering condition when I returned...

Since i have fixed it...... it also became root bound.

Today I transplanted to bigger containers ..... all is well

Pics coming soon... All new bulbs are 6500º K daylight 27W 6 in total

Changed grow room around because ne containers wouldn't fit in old spot.

Total lights are now

1x 4ft shop light 5500ºK 2 bulbs x 40 W
1x 2ft Shop light 4500ºK Grow bulb 20 W
7x 26 W CFL's 6500º K in "Y" Splitters

282 W total output (1100 W equivilent)
20,862 Lumens in a 2ft X 2 ft area
70.5 W per Sq. FT.
5215.5 Lumens per Sq. FT.

Nutes:
Osmocote 19-9-6 (time Release pellets)
weak solution of miricle grow twice total (20-20-20) diluted half
1/2 bottle of "Green Green" (contents UNKNOWN) writtten in Japanese

Soil:
1/4 MG Organic
3/4 General Potting Soil (unfertalized)

Plant in back yard discoverd missing upon return home from vacation.... ;( Think cat got it.....

Day 26:

As soon as I can find my Camera ill take pics of crop.....
Added very dilute African violet nutes for good measure only 2 drops per quart instead of the recomended 7
plants responding to transplant well.... didd some pruning.... new leaves appearing from stalk..

Plants appear to have recovered well from the heat and water problem. However they appear to be alittle stretched from the seedling stage but have since developed 1/4 to 1/2 in. internode spacing... due to addition of the afformentioned lights... with the first internode appearing between 2 and 4 inches above the soil.... Stalks are healthy green and strong. All is well today for now

Temps in the mid 70's to low 80's but good air circulation and plants and air around them are cool to the touch

Here are the pix of the crop.... you can see the damage caused from the drought. it has stunted growth... but they have recovered nicely and are on theyre way again

Got bored and built home made hydro set up for 1 bubble gum plant.
Resivoir - 3 Gal "UTZ" pretzel jar.
Water - 2 Gal with MG 20-20-20 diluted 1/2 + some rooting powder
Medium - 1/2 Mini rockwool Cube 1cm2 and 1/2 Potting Soil (Unfertalized)
Accs. 1 "Happy JACKFISH" bait bubbler 110V 3 spd.
Under same lights as other plants.
Pics included

Went to friends house whom i gave some seeds... all doing fine except one so i made room in my hydro set up for it.
Strain unknow but from my stock. Plant is obviously stretched and starting to burn. Transplanted it to Hydro for life support. Didnt have room for it in space in its own pot. If she's got a chance ill try to save her..... I refuse to give up on a runt till its over.

Hey man, Bubble Gum is a hell of a good smoke... this is first time growin it. Smoked three time some of the best ive ever had.
