Hey brother, I'm certainly no expert but I did do a little searching for ya on the early orange pistils.

Read quite a few threads on a few sites relating to a grower being upset and asking about the same issue. All the vets replied not to worry. Gave a few reasons why it might happen but all basically said they will be fine. Hope thats the case for your lady.

i read somewhere that when the pistols begin turning red they are at full potency and should be harvested but you might need magnifying glasses to see that.

it looks like heat stress or you burned the leaves with that hps, what kinda nutes are you feeding it the fan leafs are all wide and jumbled up
mine are far with branch nodes every which way and no wide leafs

blazin buds: nice to see you man, things will get a lot more interesting in the next few weeks

MyLoco: cheers for the research man! I put it down in the end to this strain being auto but if others got it maybe its just the plant maturing in different sections....

forgedgreens: I'm using potash and baby bio nitrogen feed, using half the strength on the bottles.... I reckon that the yellowing is from the HPS, it happened before when i was growing some KC36 and I'm used to dealing with this crap....only thing is i think that it stunts the plants growth..bah!
and for the fact my foliage growth is crazy...welll its just throwing out so many branches I'm having to tie them down, seems quite common though, had a look through some other grow journals, you growing some autoflowering AK's aswell?

got some pic updates of the heat stressed plants, the big female is recovering since i raised the lights

my widow started having orange/brown pistils around week 3 or 4 of flowering. but it was totally fine. just go by the trichs duude. ladys are looking good

well i got some pics of the results of my LST the budsites are growing upward and you can see the kink in the branches slowly getting a greater angle

just a heads up as i approach the end of week 5

the flowers are swelling with colored hairs being produced by the thousands not just white ones now. crystals covereing leaves already. very excited.

looks like they will survive

as some advice i would recommend cutting the damaged leaves in halfor at least cutting off the burt/stressed parts. help the plant divert its energy elsewhere
