Leftys First Indoor cfl/400w Hps Closet/Tent Grow

This is my first ever Grow. I have never grown anything ever so lets see how it goes. This is for personal use only.

Vegging

I use 26w cfls for vegging. I will be vegging in my big master closet. Veg time will vary. this first grow should be between 2 weeks and 4 weeks.

Flowering

I will be using a 31" x 31" x 71" Grow tent. 400w Hps.

Goal is 4 - 6 females a harvest.

Current grow is 5 bagseed I nicknamed Bioshock. It was from some good mids that had a great "up" high. Germninated 10 but 5 struggled early and died. Its bagseed so it was expected I guess.

Expectations of yield will come as I learn what the hell I am doing. They are low as I realistically understand this will not be easy but once mastered the rewards will be sweet.

I will be updating this journal almost daily with tons of pics. Posts are welcome.

Currently we are on day 12 from when the first seed was cracked and planted in soil.

Yesterday I gave them their first real watering other than misting early on. It was with PHed tap water that sat out for 24 hrs. They really responded well to that.

I have 5 more seeds germinating.

The posted pics are not up to date. Will take new pics when my camera battery is charged.

I have planted 3 more seeds. Love my new way of germinating. I tried every method and 2 paper towels on a plate under a bowl on top of the dvr has got to be the best. 3 of 5 seeds cracked and grew 1/4 inch roots in under 24 hrs. Same bag seed took 3 or 4 days with other methods. And atleast 1 more seed has cracked so hopefully i will be up to 9 or 10 plants soon.

Ok more pics. Got more parts for my flower tent today. I got my 400 w hps, my carbon filter and 8 inch inline fan.

is that the standard 4 sided or maxwing reflector?

haha i got that same HPS...but i got the MH conversion bulb too ... HTG Supply .. got a free t-Shirt too ..lol GL on your grow my dude

I think its the standard 4 sided.

Ok the last 2 seeds have cracked and will be planted in soil later today. so the paper towel on a plate covered by a bowl method placed on a dvr has germinated 5 of 5 seeds. Very impressed.

Will post new pics soon. This is day 12 since planted for the first 5. Once I get my Tent i will throw all of these plants in flower. The harvest after this will be a month or more veg time.
