Hey all.

I've recently set up a couple of stealth cabinets for growing some personal.
A Flower Cab and a Veg' Cab. This journal is all about the flower cab.
I've been growing for a long time but not for a few years, and never inside steel cabinets.
I'm into quality mainly, not quantity, so small successive amounts of prime bud is what I'm trying to achieve.
I've decided to test out my flower cabs capabilities with some good old fashioned bagseed. It's summer here so I don't know how I'll go with temps.
I got a few seeds up and picked the best one to throw into the flower cab'. She's gonna be a beauty.

Grow Area - Steel Stationary Cabinet 3'W x 2'D x 6'H

Lighting - Lumatek Digital 400w - Sylvania Super Grow HPS Bulb
- 6" Cool Tube

Ventilation - 6" Inline Extraction Fan attached to Cooltube and ducted
out to the outside. Pulls air out of cab and heat straight off
the bulb. Passive 6" Intake Duct from outside.

Medium - 80% Galuku Coco Coir 20% Perlite - 50L Pot

Watering - Hydro - 45L Res. Runs to waste.

Nutrient - Canna A & B Flores - 1400PPM

Temp - Out of Control. We've just a 2 weeks of
100F+ daily temps.
Some days it's reached 115F outside therefore it's been
110F inside the cab. Not ideal but she's taking it.

Humidity - 20%

PH - 5.5 - 6.0

This little lady has been topped once at 4th node and some LST a bit to open her up. 5 weeks of 18/6 from seed with a 400MH and then swapped to 400w HPS 12/12. Her stems are very thick with some nice bud sites forming. She's getting ready to create some serious large buds for her short stature. Hoping it will get cooler outside soon otherwise these high temps will screw her up in full flower.

Day 19 at 12/12

PH - 5.5

PPM - 1500

Temp - Perfect 20C Dark Cycle - 28C Light Cycle.

Just raised PPM 100 units to 1500, I think she can take it.
Nice little baby buds forming, all looks good.

nice grow man! did you tie down your plants to get multiple colas?

Yes, the plant was topped once and now is tied out producing 9 -10 colas.
Vegging with the 400w MH quite close to the plant also helps to create a compact round bush.

Day 24 at 12/12

Temp - 19C - 29C
RH - 20%

All good here, no problems.
She's starting to stretch a little now. Colas look promising.
Pics taken under HPS so they're a bit yellow.

Day 27 at 12/12

PPM - 1550 - Run Off 1850ppm
PH - 5.9 - Run Off 6.3
Temp - 26C - 35C
RH - 20%

Trimmed all lower branches to allow more energy into the tops and better air circulation around her. Found 1 male flower closed. Don't think it's anything to worry about but keeping a close eye on her daily for more.
By the look of my run off it's time for another flush. Will be doing that tomorrow.
She's really stretched up in the last week or so, about time, but she should be just about max'd out height wise now. I hope so because i only have about 8" left to go with my light before I run out of room.
The temps are too high again but we're having a couple of hot days outside. She's a little heat stressed but she should be used to it by now, i don't think it will effect her too much. Temps should be back to normal tomorrow.
Colas are looking better everyday.

Week 4 - Day 28 at 12/12

PPM - 1550 Run Off 630ppm
PH 5.8 - Run Off 6.2
Temp - 19C - 30C
RH 20%

Gave her a good flush this morning, got the run off down to a nice total.
She's looking a little heat stressed from the last to days of 100F inside the cab but the weather is back to normal and it was 25C in there this morning while I was flushing.
Thought i would take some pics without the lights on for the first time. You can see the leaf edges curling up from the heat but she will settle down over the next day or two.
She's a healthy looking girl other than that. Buds have a long way to go but they're gonna be good. I estimate she has about another 6 weeks which will make it about 10 week flowering period.
