okay, i crossed my Nirvana's Northern Lights that ive been growing for some time now with a NYC Diesel bagseedling male. i ended up with about 100 seeds but due to my self-set limit of 5 plants(misdemeanor in my state) i will only be growing one or two seeds at a time. it could take quite a few trys to get the pheno's i want, i might now get them at all, but it should be worth it.

im shooting for the indica-like growth pattern and yeild of the Northern Lights coupled with the grapefruit flavor and soaring high of the NYC Diesel.

now this is my first try at any breeding or seedmaking period so any constructive critisism is welcome.

since my garden is pretty much full right now, im going to start with a single bean. i use the paper towel method, towel wrapped in plastic wrap, and placed on heating pad under the clone tray.

it took about a week to crack. i think this was because i didnt wait a month after i harvested the seeds to try to germ, i only waited 2 1/2 wks.

2 days after it cracked i put it into a prepped RW cube, placed the cube right into a 3" RW block(i think the little cubes dry out to easily), and put it in one of my McDonalds Greenhouses.

well, were about an inch tall and were starting to show our first set of tiny serrated leaves.

i think my first bean might be a dud. it hasnt grown at all since i took the pic, and when i took the pic it looks the same as the day before. now the two water leaves are withering away while no new growth is going on.

if i go downstairs tomorrow and there isnt a quarter pound of cured herb sitting where that bullshit seedling was im starting a couple new ones.

oh well, a winner on my first try would have been asking much.

the first seedling hasnt done anything much. i started 3 more seeds 2 days ago. as of earlier today 2 had split open. ill prep the RW cubes tonight and plant them tomorrow. i think ill 86 the first seedling, its depressing to watch.

i got rid of the slacker seedling and planted one of the two germed seeds in its place. the other germed seed isnt as far and i didnt have any RW prepped so ill do it tomorrow. the third seed i started germing hasnt popped yet but im not concerned because i really dont have room for a third right now.

ill take a pic tomorrow, but its just another seedling.

those greenhouses were in happy meal toys in the mid 90's. they came with a tiny little bag of dirt and a pack of some flower seeds. thanks Ronald.

i have 4 bases and 3 tops(musta lost one) and i love them both for their functionality and their so goddamn cute!
