hey whats up people this is my first indoor grow well i didnt have a digi to take pics when i started but heres where im at

i started with 8 bagseeds
out of 8 i got
-2 crappy plants so i killed them
-2 males i killed 1and might keep the other for pollen not sure yet

and 4 beautiful girls

had them in veg for 4 weeks
now im 2 weeks into flowering

also i have 2 lowryder #2 about 2 1/2 weeks in

ok so i started of with 6-26w 6500k cfls for veg and switched to 4-26w 2700k cfls and 2-26w 6500k cfls for the past 2 weeks to start flowering and im waiting for my new 150w hps to come in from htgsupplies

ok so i am limited to grow area for now so im working with a 3' x 3' x 1' grow area for now till i get my grow tent later

ok i know my plants are a little small for there age but i started the grow with just dirt, seeds and crapy lighting and bought all the stuff along the way also i didnt use nutes for the veg cuz like i said i bought everything along the way buy now i got everything i need but my hps light

heres what i got going
for my nutes i use GH flora grow,micro, and bloom also i got the GH floraliciuos

i got some soil from homedepot with time release nutes (which i fount out is not the greatest idea)

in the grow room i got black and white poly (heard it was better and a lot easier to maintain than mylar)

got a 6" fan to move around and cool down the air
- also got one 4" inlet
and one 4" outlet

temps are between 75 and 85 is this bad or
good

also i did some lst on the plants
next time im trying scrog

Great pic quality.
They all look good so far to me.
Until you get a hps or some pro cfls you will only ever get fairly small plants with standard home cfl lighting unless you veg them for a long time.
All the nutes in the world wont matter unless you can provide them with intense light to photosynthesise the nutes your providing.

thanks for checking out my grow and yea i found out the hard way that just regular cfls wont work that well so i ordered my 150w hps for my little grow room it gets here wensday so cant wait till then

also the 150w hps is only 14"x10"x5" (LxWxH) thiers enough room in there for 2 lights, do you think that overkill 300w together for 4 plants

oh yea forgot to mention the light has glass in front of it and an exaust on the top to suck out the hot air so heat wont be a problem

Nah the more light the better to a certain extent anyway.
Its really more about making sure that you can exhaust the excess heat from your area.
If you want great results and large buds you will need at least a 400 watt hps lamp imo.

I use a dual spectrum 400 watt hps lamp and compliment it with 2 cool blue fluorescent shop light tubes.
I believe this gives better weed and use both spectrum's of light all the way through my grow.

So to sum up 1000 watts of hps wouldn't be overkill and if it was mine and i could afford more light i would buy it

if only i could fit a 400w in there i would be happy, to bad the affordable 400w hps are to wide for my grow area and i looked for a 400w cooltube so that i would fit in there but its out of my buget right now

good thing is i already have people asking me to sell them some bud for 420 hopfully ill make enough money for my new lights and and new grow tent iv been wanting to buy hehehe ill probably still have a good amount left over for personal use


by the way do you know any good strains(big yeilding strains/ high thc level) that are good for scrog i plan on doing a scrog grow after this grow and would like to get a head start and actually get everything before i start the grow not like this one that i bought everything i needed along the way i learned the hard way that thats not a good idea

They are all great strains.
The one i suggested was just for a good toke with maximum yield of 550 grams.
Really you should choose whatever one you have your heart set on growing as that is the one that you will do the best job on

yea maybe ill just try a few seeds of each and grow them all the same way and see which ones works best for me and my setup
