First time growing.

Hello guys. First time grower here. At first this growing thing didn't start out as something serious... that was until I got started. I managed to pick up a brand new Aerogarden off of Craig's List for less than $50 and some Ice seeds. It's day #5 right now and this is what the results are.

Plant #1 seems to be ok.
Plant #2 got into an accident where the stem was actually a little bent.
Plant #3 I decided to add a few days after.

I've been doing some reading and was surprised at how complex growing something is. Like, nutrient deficiencies etc.

Up next, I plan to get an aeration kit, different nutrient tabs, and a pH kit.

Any recommendations? I appreciate and welcome any constructive criticism and comment, even if it's a bit harsh. And yes, I do know, the Aerogarden isn't that much of a good investment according to the experienced growers out there, but this is my first time and I would like something easy to start off with.
