thx bro. yes i actually have already isolated a strain and its colonizing some jars really quick. let me try to take some pictures... it looks really cool because instead of being uneven, its 1 huge fanning rope taking over the substrate. NEVERMIND my camera is fukin retarded and now it wont work. tho it worked like 3 seconds ago. ill get back with it.

my total dry weight between 4 half pint jars was 8g dry. only 2 of that came the 2 cakes, the others came from the casing... the isolation process is actually easy, you should sterilize a jar and make you one now if you have a fully colonized substrate right now. what i did was crush two of the nicest cakes and make the casing. after the ropes starting grabbing the casing, i pulled (like ripped off) tiny specific rope with alcohol + flame sterile tweezers and just cracked my sterile jar and tapped the tweez on the edge til the little chunk fell in. something to learn from my results tho.. 1 did a few tiny pieces smaller than my pinky nail and they're colonizing perfectly. even the 3x3cm chunk is doing good. but the bigger ones i tried (hoping it would be faster) did colonize faster.. my whole cake was covered in a layer of myc in a week! i mean a chunk the size of a half gulf ball or something.. but i think i see contam in the jars with big chunks.. seems like when i use too big of a piece it fucked up. so tiny does it!

anyone familiar with the dunk and roll tek? when cakes are done, you dunk them in water + a little h2o2 over night and then roll them in vermiculite and put them back for the next flush. well, i did that with my cakes, except no roll.. i just did the dunk. within a couple days i've already got pins. some of the healthy pins i left on before the dunk are growing into boomers now. the casing? oohhh shit. i plucked off all the aborts. i filled the casing container with h2o+h2o2+ice and let it sit over night. i drained the water the next morning and put it back to fruit. by this afternoon i was already littered with pins and boomers are forming. i started my second flush within hours of ending the first.
