ok well i am growing alaskan ice with 6 cfls all 26 watt 4 of them are 6500k and 2 of them are 2700k. wanted to mix it up. Been growing for about a week or less from germinated seed till now. seed took 2 days to germinate used the paper towel method and im currently planted in seedling miracle grow soil. transplant will be organic soil and perlite prolly a 30% perlite and 70% soil. I want the roots to breath. anyways here it is please no neg comments suggestions are welcome but no attitudes please. im poor and cannot afford a hps or mh light although once i start workin again i will prolly get my hands on some caues im an electrician by trade. hopefully free. my pics are in my album still not sure how to get them here feel free to check em out.

no just noticed most other journels there are some comments guess mine is just too noobish or small o well transplanted into bigger pot with 2/3 soil and 1/3 perlite seems to drain pretty good hopefully will keep me from drowning it. i wait to water till soil is dry about 1 to 2 insh down. I have fish emulsion nutes when should i start adding that not sure? its miracle grow organic soil is all i could find around here. Seems to have about same nutes as the seedling soil did by looking at package. boy that fish stuff smells i opened it and foolishly stuck it right under my nose hope it dowesnt' stink up my closet

You dont need nutes for the first couple weeks. Does the MG have time relesed nutes?

ive heard alot of bad things about mg time released. Be carefull when using nutes not to over do it. Good luck and happy growing

ok new pix up been a couple days nice green leaves and new ones comeing out but is it normal for the bigger leaves to be droopin like this i took pix of all 4 sides. no nutes and im leary bout adding them so im gonna wait a while thanx for replies. http://www.rollitup.org/members/xxst...grow-evah.html

well droopy conditions still there but its geting taller and lots more formations so i think maybe from watering too much after i transplanted itso im laying off water for a while its still nice and damp/ moist.ill post more pix in a few fays

Yea man just lay off the watering for a bit...and you do not want to start nutes until the 3rd week or so.
