ok guys hows it going? ive been readyy everyones grow journal from back in october to get a few ideas and well i got them. so i decided it was time to really start growing. this is really my second grow. but that one was like an experiment to get used to taking care of them and germanating. and what not. the real probablem with the first grow was i had stupid gro and shopw lights to grow with. now they got them thorugh there veg stage. it just wasnt enought for them to flower. so they raelly stretched. im not killing these because they are really good strains (dont know exact name or anything) but they are really good smoke. one is from colorado mountains. smells a little like blueberry x cali orange.ok they have been under 12/12 for like 2-3 weeks but no sings of sex. but imma get some CFL's and finish them off really fast. this one post is going to be really long cause alot happened today with my grow room that yall need to noiw as i cant post any pics yet. i will post my grow room that i drew from paint on here so you have an idea. anyway. me and a few friends had to move an office with all this damn furniture in it today and tomarrow. well anyway one of the office had like a book shelf thingy that they were going to throw away and i was like hell the fuck no i can use that.( i dont ahve a real grow box or anything. well one of my friends makes custom cabnets(sp?) so we went to his shop and i had him make me a 3'x2.5' veg box, with a shelf in the top. so thats in my 4 foot wide closet in my room.it only about 1 foot deep but its jsut for vegging like maybe 4 plants. and then i have a 1.5'x2.5' flower area right next to that.


ok so on to what i have and what im going to buy tomarrow.
p.s. im getting everything at wal-mart that i dont already have.
p.s.s i wil lnot be using mh or hps lamps at all through this grow as i can not afford them. and i am on a very low budget like at most 50$



1. need some soil.(recomendations)
2. 6-12 20+ watt cfl bulbs (pending on price)
3. 6-12 light sockets. will wire myself.
4. i have 15-30-15 miracle grow nutes.(mostly for flowering.
5. i have 1 bottle of 5-1-1 fish emulsions. (when needed)
6. i have half bag perlite
7. im getting small clear dixie cups for sprouts.
8. 6 4 in" pots
9. box of jiffy cubes.
10. the grow box is all black so imma get some white spray paint( or white project boards
11. making a home made reflector out of white project board.
12. need to buy 2 more mini rat cage fans.


oh btw. i use ph'ed bong water to water my plants. (trust me it works)

ok so i have 1 sprout that was germinated about 3 days before my others. i currently haveabout 15 seeds being germinated. so far i have 7 germinted out of about 20 to start with. as soon as i see sprouts that are 2-3 inches tall i will place under lights. i plan on gradually going to 4 plants before start of flowering. as i said i do not know strains or anything as these are seeds from stuff i bought.

well 3 more seeds germianted at were planted in cups. no light til lthey sprout and are about 2-3 inches tall. so maybe another 4-5 days. i am going to go finish this moving job and then go to wal-mart tonight and most likely lowes in the morning. i dont think any of the other seeds will germinate but i left them in papter towels just in case. the more the merrier. im also doing a little experiment. i put 2 germinated seeds in one cup and im going to twist the stem around eachother and see what it does. lol just prolly make it really bushy and hard to get the right amount on nutes or water.

also i have a little 2 foot aquarium floro with the wrong tube in it what tube do i need to buy for growing?

please comment guys. need all the help i can get.

end of day 4.
no more germinated seeds.
just added 5 seeds to be germinated.
i now have 2 sprouted seeds about 3 days apart.
luckily they are both my good seeds that i liked the most.
havent gotten paid for the work i have been doing for the last 2 days so i have to wait till i get paid to go buy the rest of my stuff.
i would like people to help me out here as i dont know everything on growing(yet).

well today nothing new happening. im slowly setting up the grow closet so it runs with my help. i need to go buy another timer though. unles leaving the lights on 24 hrs is ok then ill just do that.
i am going on the road with my dad(hes a semi-truck driver) and then we are going to pick up my car in colorado and put it on back of the flat bed. lol so much fun.
then i can really get my grow room going as soon as i have a car.
anyway the 2 sprouts are doing excellent. the first one already is starting its 2nd set of veg leaves. and the seed leaves are stil lreally dark green. they are about 1.5 inches away from a flourescent tube.(only till i get back).

i got everything set up. i have 20 seedlings and 3 plants in flowering. 1 is hydroponic. the 2 in soil that are ready to flower, are about 3 feet tall from just vegatation. so i think they might get to be about 7-9 feet tall. if my calculations are correct. more updates later tonight.
