ok so this is my first grow ever and i decided to do it becasue i think it will be fun and i hope i get at least a little bud out of it lol. this is pretty much the most ghetto/low cost thing ever and most likely won't yield much but here it goes. what i currently have rigged up is a cardboard box with a 26 watt 6500k cfl fed through the top. there are two little windows so i posision the plants under the light. it is very stealthy and can barely be seen. the cfl is on a timer currently set to 18/6. the box doesn't have ventilation yet put im probably going to put in a computer fan soon. i believe the temp in there is around 70 but ill need to take another reading. after the 18 hours of light i take out the plants and put them in a dark cabinet just so they get some fresh oxygen. now i know this setup wont last for long seeing as the plants will get taller than the box but for now it works. both of these plants are bagseed and i don't know what they are but they are both different strains. mind you i just recently came up with this box idea and had the plants under SHITTY lights but since they've been in this box with the cfl they have grown much better. here are some pics of the setup and of what the plants look like now. like i said this is an experiment as it's my first time growing so don't give me too much shit haha

the lights pretty damn well contained in the box, do you think its bouncing off the sides and hitting the plants?

box will make the light less should add foil or something so the light bouces of the plants and grow them better my man

ive heard foil burns, u recommend mylar or white paint?

i added a fan, hopefully this will make the plants healthier. here's an update on the plants. i watered after i took the photos

my bigger plant has barely grown since yesterday! do u think its because since i cut a hole in the box for the fan a shitload of light is escaping?

hate to keep posting on my own thread so much but do u think thats why it didint grow as much? how should i fix it? needs the fan but idk how to do it without letting light escape. rig up some kind of tube shit?

Looks healthy man... don't sweat the reflection too much now.. I would get a Y splitter and another bulb and put baby in the middle.. Keep going.....

I'd re-pot soon... it won't grow if theres no where to go.... don't panic grow rates vary at different times too..... Luck

yea she'd (hopefully lol) be much better with more light. do you know if this is good soil?
