That is absolutely true, i use gallon water jugs and it can lower your temps by as much as 7 degrees. The moisture level doesn't really rise as much as you would expect, i only experienced a gain of about three percent rh. Cheap and very easy. Good luck

THANKS FOR ALL THE INPUT!

got some pictures, the seeds are about to surface so im excited. s. cough is growing as planned. in its 6th day of growing. seeds have been in there for 2 days.

TEMP-81.3 f
HUMID-40 %

got the temp down by getting a fan and blowing it directly in the box.
and with BLUEBERRYDREAMS idea of the frozen water bottles.

more pictures every other day.

keep it coming people.

ALOHA EVERYONE!
DAY 14
BEEN AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER FOR A COUPLE DAYS, BUT IM COME BARING GIFTS, GOT SOME PICTURES AND SOME UPDATES ON THE GROW SO FAR,

TEMP 80 *F
HUMID-51%

OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS GROWTH HAS BEEN GOOD. LOTS OF FOLIAGE GROWTH

JUST A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS

WHEN DOES THE SEX BEGIN TO SHOW?
IS LST A GOOD METHOD?
ANY NUTE INFO?
HPS PRICES AND INFO?

IF ANYONE CAN AWNSER SOME OF THESE IT WOULD HELP ME OUT

IF YOU DIDDNT READ PREVIOUS BULLITONS
I AM WORKING WITH A RUBBERMAID SET UP.
LIT UP WITH FOUR 27 WATT (100 W. EQUIV) BULBS, LINED WITH MYLAR, BUT TOMMOROW IM HOPING TO GET SOME EMERGENCY BLANKET AND LINE THAT UP INSTEAD OF THE MYLAR.

I ALREADY HAVE A SUPPLY OF EXTRA 27 WATT (100W-EQ) BULBS FOR WHEN SHE GETS BIGGER

ALSO GOING TO ADD THE CO2 IN THERE AS WELL, TEMPS ARE ALRIGHT BUT IM THINKING ON GETTING ANOTHER FAN, BUT ITS NOT URGENT.

O and Hawaiian THe plants are lookin healthy so far keep it up, but hey i was going to say that if you havent fixed that heating problem....I had the same problem with my rubbermaid grow and ended up cutting a few holes in the top lid for the air to vent out...check out my grow on the link in my sig and you can take a look at the holes i had to cut and it might give you a few ideas. And another thing if i were you i would get another rubbermaid sometime soon to stack it because your plants are going to run out of room quickly in that single bin, because the pot takes up room and so do the lights hanging so you only have a few inches to grow vertically i take it...anyways good luck

O and to answer a few questions you posted earlier....1)sex isn't going to show until you start to flower it (lighting 12/12), 2) I have never done LST so i cant help ya there but hopefully someone else can, 3) There are a ton of different nutes that you could use but you have to look up how much to use for each one, 4) HPS can get expensive but its up to you...if you are tight on budget maybe take a look at this Skip the CFL's: The $20 150w complete HPS with ballast and bulb Link
You can get a 150w HPS for $20 or if you wanna go bigger you could spend hundreds....up to you

ALOHA EVERYONE!

THANKS FOR THE INFO FISHIN YOUR A GREAT HELP!

JUST ADDED A CO2 BOTTLE IN THE SET UP, SO WE SHALL SEE HOW THAT GOES!

WHEN I CHECKED THE BOX I COULDNT HELP BUT SEE MY PLANT, ITS LOOKING GOOD, MORE GROWTH THEN I SAW THIS AFTERNOON.

ILL HAVE SOME PICTURES TOMMOROW MORNING ASAP.


JUST A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS.

WHEN THE CO2 BOTTLE SITS THERE FOR A BIT, ARE THE BUBBLES SUPPOSED TO BE REALLY HIGH UP (TRYING TO OVERFLOW). I THINK I PUT TOO MUCH YEAST, OR SUGAR.

IS 4 27 WATT (100 EQV.) ENOUGH FOR THE STAGE IM AT?

SHOULD I START USING NUTES? THEY SEEM TO BE GROWING AT A GOOD RATE ALREADY.
