Dr. Earth Organic 3-3-3
General Hydro's Ph Kit
Distilled water only
Brer Rabbit Unsulfered Mollasses

.... On to the lights

Untill they get bigger, I'm running 6 23w 6500k Daylight cfl's with two more on reserve for when i need em.

For the majority of the grow i will be using my 400w HPS, nothin fancy, magnetic ballast, bat wing reflector. I will bring this in once i have vegged the plants to the proper size. Now's a good time to mention another piece of equipment I'll be bringing in when it comes time to fire up the hps- portable ac 5,000btu zenith. Had to get a portable ac to keep the fuckin closet cool enough with the hps. It's keeps the temps well within my limits, usually 74-80 degrees.

i wish my lr2/ak47's turned out better tried them on my first grow and it didnt go to well, didnt know what i was doing. subscribed to see how these turn out.

Anyhoo, I put the 2 seeds in the paper towell )which I should also mention are femenized) on Dec. 1. It took the first that cracked til the 6th then another day after the other one cracked as well. I put the newly cracked seeds, which the one had close to a 1/2 taproot, into a couple of those expanding peat pots and then under a couple cfl's 24/0. It didn't take long, overnight, for the one that had the long taproot to show up above the surface of the peatpot. It sprouted the first leaves and i quickly potted both. I'm still waiting on one to break soil, but here's a pic of the other-lrg3.jpg

I decided to try some autos, since i got a couple grows under my belt, and I've done both- fuck it completely up(my first) to some decent yeilds of the dankest shit I've ever had the pleasure of smoking. Of corse I naturally thought that the shit that I had just grew was off the hook ya, know? but then damn, I hook up my boy with some, he goes and smokes it with so-and-so, now I'm hearin it was the best anyones had in ages. Idk, I just like growin my own cuq it's way to expensive to buy, and i know no one else can get the same quality shit in the end.

Just a lil update. My temps with the lights on have been 70-73, not acceptable with the lights on for me. The humidity was at 20% as well so I brought in the ole humidifyer to raise the temps and humidity. Both are currently at... ... 37% and still 73 degrees. Not too worried about then low temp for now, but of corse it could be better.

Not much has gone on since my last post. Both plants have sprouted, but have yet to explode as I'm used to seeing previously. I can pretty much already tell u that the 'harvest in 70-75 days from seed' on the lr2ak47's is bunk. I hope these things take off soon, everything's right, temps, humidity, tons of light..... litttle sprouts dolook healthy and green and all, but just so small.

well, more of the same today, which would be 17days from seed. I was thinkin maybe I over or under-watered them, the bigger plant was droopin, so i let them both go without for 2 days. Yesterday, I gave em 16oz. of water, double that which I was giving them before, and the bigger one perked up a bit, but not much. Also, the other one that sprouted, is still tiny as shit. I mean, its 1/4" from dirt to the top of the little plant. Well, back to waitin. RJ
