You gonna need alot bigger fan than that for the 600 my friend.The extraction fan i mean, But thats the way to cool the bulb.It will keep the hot air from just sitting around creating hot spots.Id get a hood for the 600 thats has a tap to hook a duct like a 4inch are 6inch extraction duct to it.Your plants are loving that 600 but your gonna have to get that intake and extraction down are your never gonna mantain desired temp.Makes me wanna fire up another 600 but i like 400s for that reason they are alot easier to maintain desired temp for ME..

IF your gonna try it that way heres a thought,get another 10inch and screw it to the other side and hook a duct to it and vent outside the flowering space.I dont think it will be enough but just something to play around with as im always tinkering............tink, tink.

alright, now i dont know wtf!...last night i treated a plant for what i thought was a mag deficiency...pix in the troubleshooter matched....i gave all my plants a drink...today most of them look either lime-ish or are strting to look like the one with the mag def....most of them dont look so gr8...what can i do? the water they get is a ph of 6 to 6.1..

i did get the vent prob fixed...my ghetto rig is keppin the temps perfect..i can put my hand 6 inches from the light without discomfort....i guess adding the little box fan and blowing across the bulb to the inline fan worked......so now i just gotta figure out whats going on with the plants...i did take five cuttings today and planted them...i used rootone and just a little superthrive........could my ph b too low and thats why they are getting the lime tint?...im stumped

There should be no mag are any def.at this stage your plants are nowhere big are have been growing long enough to use up all the nutes.Unless its locked out from the ph being to low are high.Have you done anything different than what you have been doing??As far as watering and nutes???Did it just happen overnight ?Your not dumping cold air from the attic in there are you?? Got a pic???Rethink it thru on what youve done different il be thinking.

uhhhhhhhh, cold air from the attic? um....yeah, is that a bad thing? that how i've been keeping temps balanced...i have a fan blowing cool air in and the vent fan taking hot air out......my ph is about 6.0....i just ordered a test kit for the soil and nutes....so, what ur sayin is i shouldnt b shooting cold air in?.....that means i really gotta get this venting figured out
