Hello Everybody, I'm pretty new here. I really like reading all of your grow journals and thought I would post my own.

Right now I have 4 master kush plants that are about 10 days old (+1 or 2 if you count germination). They're under 4 26w and 2 23w daylight CLFs on a 18/6 light cycle.

Pic 1 is of #1 the first day it spouted
Pics 2 and 3 are of #1 at 1 week

Pic 4 is #2 at a week. #2 Is growing slower than the rest and it's new leaves look a different than the others. They seem a lot wider and are a darker green than the rest. Is this a normal thing?

Pics 5 and 6 are of #3 (My big girl!)

Pics 6 and 8 are of #4

#3 and #4 are a little bigger than #1 and #2

Any Comments, Questions, Suggestions?

they all look great - don't worry about small variations.

your medium looks like straight soil so you should think about adding perlite when you transplant.

i woulds say this plus some vermaculite, coconut fibers, and some nice worm castings

my plumber asked me if i'm growing? and i said huh, what do you mean?he said your looking taller.weird huh?this is a true story!it scared me a little.

Yeah it's pretty much strait soil, I just bought the store's brand of potting soil from a local nursery.

How much perlite should I add to the soil? I've got a bag of it but did not add any because it drained pretty well.

25% i think... a good idea would to be to look at some sites and see what their percentage is

This morning, just before I left for work, I checked on my babies. Everything looked good then I saw my temp, 108f. Holy fuck I was scared, I was sure they were cooked and my first grow was already done in less than 2 weeks! It looked like my pup had chewed threw my fans' power cord and with no circulation the temps quickly rose. With max quickness I fixed the wire and got the fans up and running again. Luckily I caught it early and I think there was no damage, but I'm not really sure what to look for.

I'll post some pics later, I'm way too comfy to get up and grab my camera right now.

It has been two weeks now since I planted the seeds. #1,3,4 are doing good and I can't see any problems with them, but #2 is still looking a little funky. #2 started to lean over earlier this week and now looks like it's been trained or something, I'm not really sure what's going on with it.

I noticed that the original sprout leaves had been turning a pale green the last few days, but today one of #4's started turning brown on the tip. I'm not sure what this means or if I should be worried (I expected those leaves to fall off sometime). Any Thoughts?

Well, my plants are still alive and looking awesome. Early this week I noticed some roots coming out of their pots so I transplanted them into 2 gallon grow bags. I think I may have been a little rough with them, exspecally #1 , because they didn't grow at all for a day or so (not sure if that's normal).

I also started using nutes this week. I bought some Alaskan Fish Fertilizer, the stinky stuff, (5-1-1) and fed them with a 1/4 mix.

I think they liked the combination of nutes and transplanting because they had some great growth this week. All of them started growing branches with their own nodes and there's noticable growth each day. I didn't really notice how much they grew until I looked at last week's pictures, been home most of the week and have been checking on the girls quite a bit.

I topped #1 and #3 just for shitz n' gigglz a few days ago, they seem to be doing good.

My gif bought me a 150w hps so I put #2 and #4 under it. #2 is doing really good under it and has had the most new growth. #1 and #3 are still under cfl's.

I not sure how long I'm going to veg, at least long enough to take some clones. I was thinking about waiting until they show sex and SCROGing them or doing some lst.
