Finally got my room set up minus the fan thats being shipped and a filter that I need to build. I have a 1000w hps that I wired up myself, I plan to use it for vertical growing, but I have yet to build racks or bought blocks to raise the plants up. I also have 2 150 watt hps's that will be used strictly for veg once I turn the 1000 watt to 12/12. I have a stanley blower fan on the way that should vent the room adequately. Right now the room reaches 81 degrees with the lights on, and the room is basically sealed except for the bottom chimney cleanout that I found and I am now pulling cool air from it.

Ill update throughout this coming flower cycle atleast. Right now Im using Pro-Mix as medium and Fox Farms nutes, but I plan on switching to earth juice nutes. Mainly because the earth juice is cheaper and I have seen great results in other grows with the same strains.

Currently I have about 30 clones ages 1 week to 3 weeks old.

All the plants in the grow bags are clones from Green House Seed Co , and one strain from bagseed that I have grown and harvested before.

1 strain is El Nino, which I will be growing a lot of since it has an 8-9 week flower period

2nd strain is Arjan's Ultra Haze #2, We'll see how many of these I grow, they have a long flower period and they havent been rooting and growing nearly as fast as the other 2.

3rd strain is unknown, looks indica/sativa to me. I have been growing this strain for about a year now. I have grown til harvest 2 times. It makes good citrus flavored buds. I can't wait to flower it under this 1000 watt hortilux hps.

I have one question. I am chompin at the bit to put about 10 of these girls in to flower, but I just topped them today. I know they will grow a lot more, but should i wait to switch to 12/12 since I just topped?


Here is a good shot of the flowering room, it is enclosed in panda film and has a zipper opening as a door. I tried to keep the bulb out the picture, that MOFO IS BRIGHT!


Here is the unknown strain. All i know is that it is female (cut from a mom) and it tastes great and grows damn fast. This clone is 3 weeks old and over a foot tall with leaves the size of my hand.


This plant just looks amazing to me, makes me worry it is a boy. It was grown from a seed of my first harvest plant, of my unknown strain. I just took some clones from it and Im hoping they'll turn out female. This plant is roughly 4-5 months old.


Here is my El nino mom, she looks sort of mis-shapen since she is tied down and Ive taken so many clones from her lately. She's so bushy and thick. She might be my favorite

Im proud I finally got this little room going. I started out with four 2 ft flouresents in my bedroom closet 12 months ago and.......well...... it's only growing!
