It looks more like leaf uncurling than balls. You may not be able to tell until you switch to 12-12. Make sure you have plenty of root room, I read somewhere that if you start your plants with lots of taproot room, at least 4 inches, you will end up with a majority of females. I tried this, and I am growing 6 for 6 females. 2 of them were feminized seeds though.

thats what i thought too, that they were curling leaves but i thought he may have been talking about something else so i wanted to make sure... i think im gonna wait a few weeks to switch it to 12/12 and if its a male then oh-well i'll start over.

Your plant looks very healthy. I think it is going to be a girl for sure. I will be watching your progress. Happy growing.

Ya def curling leaves my bad man was not trying to steer ya wrong, but that other photo it was hard to tell fo sho. Anyways good luck and i will keep an eye out on this one! Cross ur fingers for a baby girl!

So, last night I dropped the damn thing, i thought it was gone for sure but i only lost one leaf. I will show pics tomorrow/later of where the damage has been done. also the tips of the points along a few leaves are turning brown, i dont know what it is or how to correct it so when i add pics tomorrow or later, maybe you guys could help?

Fortunately it is still growing, so thats good

also is my lighting sufficient? i have 2 26 watt CFL's... will i need more for flowering?

more lights are always better bro. I did pretty well with a 150 watt hps for start to flower then 2week into flower got a 400 watt hps balast. Maybe we could arrange a sale if ur interested, pretty damn cheap. But cfls are def more affordable and fairly easy to setup too. Get like a 120 Watt 6500K for veg and then switch it to 2700 K for Flower. Good Luck man!

how much for that setup? i might just be interested... I wouldn't use it for this grow but when i move in to my new apartment in March i will be dedicating a whole room to growing s do you know if the soft white lights are the 2700k? i cant find on the package where it the spectrum is. if so im using the wrong lights for vegging... maybe i should throw the thing in to flowering now if thats the case?

Umm well which setup, you can get a brand new setup through HTG for less than a 100 dollars shipped, i payed 150 shipped for my 400 watt hps lamp bulb and ballast. So they are inexpensive if you know where to shop. But as far as the 2700k bulbs its in a pack of 5 or 6 and its green, on the bottom shelf at my wallmart. Fairly cheap too. Hope i am of some help!
