Ya man, thats a great option too. I just prefer HPS because its the best to use during flowering. But during veg, MH are great, especially using some UV as side lighting. Not sure if I told you what I am using, I have a 250W HPS, and 2 big UV Shoplights as backup lighting. I also am getting 2 more 150W HPS to add in for the flowring time.

AK-48 Is a great strain. I'm just finishing up my 3rd grow with that and I can tell you that strain or at least the phenotype / genotype I got will put up with a lot of abuse or mistakes. Overall great grow, awesome high, and a nice strong smell, it's hard to describe.

I'm currently vegging some AK-48 to clone for my next grow, which I will create a journal for in a few months if I can just clone a damn plant. =[

Awesome, interesting.... maybe I'll order some of those afghan seeds (never tried it) but Im kind of partial to sativa strains cuz I mainly smoke so I can get a really insane/crazy heady high (thinking all kinds of crazy thoughts and ideas).. BUT I DO like to have a lazy couch high sometimes when I need to rest after a tough day at the office..
I wonder what kind of high would result from crossing the afghan with a strong sativa!

Hey,

Even if you like sativa , You will love afgan. It looks so exotic and strong, and has such a distictive taste. This bud when you smoke it, you WILL taste it. Its VERY strong. It is one of my favorite strains.

Hey ODGROP...

You got any update pics coming? Where you been? I got some pics up, and started a little journal, feel free to stop bye.

I never said...they reason why I would pick up at lest one HPS is for the light spectrum. It has the correct Spectrum for flowering. I always like to Veg and Flower with both a HPS and MH. Get the BEST RESULTS!
