Seedsman's Skunk Haze Grow

I'm currently building a new grow room as I begin this grow of Seedsman's Skunk #1 x Purple Haze which is 87.5% Sativa as described on their site. I got the seeds from Hemp Depot for $80 per 10 seeds. I sprouted 4 seeds with 100% germination rate paper towel method in the dark next to my boiler where it's warm.
I have the seedlings under a T5 2x40watt full spectrum tubes and growing in Ocean Forest Soil. You can see they are 7 days old since being put into paper towel to germinate. They are certainly out performing any of the bag seed Indica's I've grown so far in terms of germ rate and speed of growth.

You will also see a bag seed Indica as well which i brought back to life after my friend killed the other one trying to grow for the first time. It's a little crooked and worse for ware but I put a 42w CFL on it and replanted it.

Plan is to make the area 4'wx6'dx7'h the vegetative room keeping a couple mother's once I take clones and sex them.

I have a 400w HPS for the other oom which right next to it seperated by black plastic and frame I built from 1x2x8'. I have some ducting prepared going out the basement window which I wil throw together as soon as I get the walls all finished and the heat builds up. But for now it's preety cool and spacious in there.

Let me know thoughts or ideas you folks may have and if other's are growing any Seedsman products I would be curious to hear how it went.

Update since yesterday... girls (I hope

) are growing so fast I am still surprised at the rate. i changed the lighting and the configuration around so that they grow more strait. The lighting i had setup seemed to be causing some stretching and so put my 42 watters in x3 and a 26w fulls spectrum instead of the t5's which I didn't feel were putting out enough concentrated light in comparison to the CFL's. You can checkout the new config hopefully it will be better. I also built a DIY reflector from a piece of wood and the reflective insulation I bought at the local harware store.

I'm very happt with the growth so far.

Does anyone know where I can get square 3 Gal buckets from so I can keep the plants in a little tighter under the lights?

Things seem to be going well. I got the light down closer andthe stretching stopped and they began to bring out a lot more leaves so thing are looking good. I alos got three more reflectors and more 42w bulbs so that they each will have their own and I can stop leaning lamps against the pot.
One is showing a very different phenotype then the other three seems to have a broader leaf so maybe the 13% Indica is showing itself. Hopefully it's female so I can see how it smokes compared to the other more slender Sativa phenos.
Here's my updated pics. The Indica bag seed I kept in the center of all the lights really bushed out with lots of new growth. I will be giving it it's own bulb and it should start heading skyward.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but I noticed in the first post you said these are a Purple Haze cross and that just isn't so. I don't know what the fascination is with purple bud, but Original Haze is capable of producing more colors than just purple, so don't sell this strain short.

I got a few of these I'd like to pop sometime, but I'll let your grow hold me over until then. Lookin' good bro.... nice start.

Here is an update for the grow. They're three weeks from the first day I put them in the paper towel, today

Really enjoying this grow and the slender Sativa leaves coming along nicely on three of them with a wider more Skunk no1 showing through on the 4th pic. That one is doing well(4), though I wasn't sure what was going to happen because the first set of leaves had the drying and deterioration you can see in the photo.
I rearranged the table setup in order to give the fruit flies no place to hide

as well which has worked in addition to the sticky traps.

Time for an update...
Ladies are doing well. There definately seems to be a deficiency on two of the Skunk Haze. You can see discoloration on the leaves and the older bottom most leaves are dying off which I'm not too concerned with. I should begin adding so Fox Farm this week at there next feeding. I'll begin following the feeding/watering schedule beginning with the lower strength doses this week and we'll see if that helps with whatever is happening.

If anyone can tell what the deficiency is please share your thoughts. I'm feeling good about the growth to this point which is about one month from seeds going into the paper towel. Curious to see what the growth rate difference will be when I add foxfarm nutes.

I've been so busy lately I haven't had time to update the pics. We're now entering the 5 1/2 week mark and I will have some pics up tonight later. I also put the Indica in to flower on tuesday to hold me over til the clones finish taking root and I can get some skunk haze growing to sex and pick a mother from the 4 could be ladies. Pics...

So we have one lovely lady on the right. I saw a few of the first pistols at the top

It's the Indica which I started to flower last week so hopefully it will finish in another 7 weeks if it's like the last one.

My clones have been interesting. I can't see roots but they seem to have begun to straiten themselves. Hopefully I'll see some roots by the end of the second week.
