you should try lowering your light somewhat. from the looks of it, they're stretching out for it... how close are you keeping it at the moment? i always stick my hand under there at plant level and if it's gets too hot to bare, it's too close...

what are those massive trees in that one pic??

have you considered topping or fimming with the limited closet space?

Thanks smg for stoppin by!! And congratz on the graduation greenday! i have about 1 more year to go then i will finally be done wil all this school stuff lol. Those massive trees are actually plants lol.. the one down side to those are that there being flowered with cfls =( so they're not filing out i think. And no i haven't attempted to toppin or femmin them. I'm a complete noob when it comes to this sorrta stuff.. so i have no idea on where to even begin to do that. But the pics of the plants that are budding are not the ones that i'm taking care of. The ones that just got put into flower with the buddyjesus doll are mine. The light that were using is a 600watt hps light so i have it about 8-10 inches away from the tops of the plants right now. i'm thinking that i can lower that a lil bit since we got the new fan! Again thx for all the comments!! Really helpin out a lot!

yea those first stretch armstrongs are insane, should have been topped long ago.... CFLs will stretch a plant bad if not practically touching it. you should be fine with the 600w. unfortunately you're not gonna get good results with those guys....

topping is best done when about 6" tall in my opinion, just cut the top of the main growth stem off and two will grow in it's place. this will create a much bushier plant.

I always flower when about 12-18" tall depending on how well they're doing.

with that space you should consider SCROG.

PS get them out of those cups ASAP! those roots will start binding hardcore and slow things down....

in my opinion, buy some 2 gallon grow bags, give those guys a topping, veg 2 more weeks and let them flower.

what kind of soil are you using?

i'm using foxfarm ocean mix for soil, and the three part fox farm nutes. i have some updated pics of the lil guys. today is day 3 into flowering so hopefully i'll be able to sex them soon. i think ill top the next set which are already looking real good. pics of those are also on this post. And yea definitly going to be moved into bigger pots in the next couple of days.
