stay out from the nutes fo atleast 2 waterings with jus water and then start feeding them with 1/2 strenght. i feed my plants on every third watering and it works for me. oh well i killed one of my clones with nutes, but it was recieving the same amount as the others and the others were jus fine.....

Cheetah, at the end of 3 weeks how much nute strength do you suggest to start with. Both Bigbud and myself are using the botanicare pure blend.

It's day 23 in veg, and boy do they smell a lil danky already. Been on 24/0 light after germination. 2 PPP's are in front, a Snow White is in the back with the other SW off to the side (the runt). I think they're like 5 to 7 inches tall. I have a picture of a grow I did a few years ago included. It's about 7.5 inches @ 21 days with the same lighting and in a similar closet....but that one (which was Nirvana Special from Nirvana) is a lot lankier and with a lot less leaves/internodes. I'm already on internode 5 or around there...they are stocky to say the least, and the stems are hardy as hell!. I'm thinkin about another 3 or 4 weeks, or until they are around 16 inches tall, then its on to flower.

P.s. - I did transplant the cubes into 6" netpots....but they aren't that big to begin with...I need bigger pots.

Thanks for your comments on my grow journal. It looks like we started within a couple of days of each other. If yours grow like mine, you may want to re-think the 3 weeks til blooming. I was out of town from Thursday through Sunday, and my plants had grown from 9" to 15" while I was gone! I have about 28" available height in my tent, so I'm official transitioning to flower.

What nute strength are you running now? It looks like you caught your previous nute burn problem early, and the plants look great.

I'm actually using full strength botanicare (75ml in 5 gallon of water) with some calmag as well. At first, I noticed a little nute burn...but it seems as if the plans have adjusted as I am only watering twice a day now instead of 3x.

So Abnjm, your plants hit a 6" growth spurt in 3 days? Was this between day 30-33? I have about 7 ft of space (maybe more) since its a closet. I want them to get to atleast 12" before I flower, maybe even 16". The educational video I've watched a billion times with my same set-up has clones being flowered at around 20-22" (I will have clones once I start my better genetics). Right now at just about 4 weeks (a lil shy I think) they are still around 6-8". I'm able to keep the lights within 3-4" so they aren't stretching...but I'm thinkin its more of their genetics that's keepin them shorter/bushier.

They were 9" when I left Thursday for the land of brats and fish fries. When I got home Sunday night they were 15" tall. It was exactly 30 days after I put them in the coco. I had them on 24/7 lights and 15 minute floods every 3 hours. Last week was my first mix over 1000ppm, so that may have had something to do with the growth spurt. I only have about 28 inches of more usable height in my tent, so I wanted to be sure I had room if they tripled in height.

Plants are lookin A-OK to me. Still got at least another 2 or 3 weeks of veg until I move to flower. They are only 6-7 inches tall.

Flower room construction will be commencing ASAP (will have pics).

actually im growin in soil...lol...so there is diference
