I have been planing a grow with the strain lowryder2. I have done quite a few grows before 90% of them successfull (I think i can speek on behalf of a lot of first time growers not everything works out the first time). I would say I know quite alot regarding growing cannabis. I have studied many books including The Cannabis Grow Bible. Although I have grown both sativa and indica strains i am moderatly confused with the low ryder strain. I am very well aware of the 18/6 and the 12/12 lighting times of sativa & indicas and I know that lowryder is an auto-flowering strain wich recuries no change in light. the few things i am realy confused about is the feeding rutiene, i know with sativas & indcas not to feed for first 3 weeks after seed germinates and to start off at a low does then gradualy increase the doses as the plant grows until you have to change feeds for flowering. only thing is with the lowryder strain it automaticaly starts to flower at 3 weeks so i am confused on when to start nutes as i would usualy start nutes for the vegative stage of a sativa or indica at the same stage that the lowryder starts flowering so what do i do regarding this do i just start feeding the plant with the flowering food?? only problem in my mind of doing this is, the more nitrogen the plant recives during veg the more chance of it becoming a female, most of the flower feeds have less N, than P or K icreasing the risk of males? Any advice on when and what doses to feed the plants will be great. cheers people.
