Lowlife seeds auto mix pack grow

Ok. This is my third attempt at growing, second time indoor.

I figured I'd make a journal, in the chance that someone looking to grow the same thing can see how one trial of them works out, mine.

Fox Farms Ocean Forest (FFOF)
perlite, about 1/3
vegged with 26 watt 6500k for about 2 and a half weeks. 7 out of ten have survived.

the furthest 3 along just started flowering. Keep in mind this is my first time seeing flowering, so although I've seen pictures, Its still all new to me.

pictures: there is one picture of the setup (I moved the lights to see the plants) and the rest are various shots of the 3 that have started flowering.

i think you have a couple males there,...sorry man....im pretty sure those are pollen balls..your 3rd pic is a def male. that sucks.

yeah that's what I am afraid of. I was planning on waiting for a week or so in order to make sure it is totally male or female.

Would that be too long of a wait, will the males open up their pollen pods?

no..id at least get rid of the one thats in your 3rd pic. but look at the bright side, males always show first. that means the other 4 are probably fems...keep your head up.

damn.. you are right I think. I have to move them now, one of the plants has about 40 sacs, and like 10 of them look opened. the other 2 have like, maybe a few pod looking things, I still have hope for them to somehow be female.
the last 4 have been growing slow.

I'm so afraid that some pollen got out and is on every single plant there.

Maybe try to seed one of your females out so you do not hav to keep buying seed. I plan on doing that ouside this spring. Going to try to get three harvest out of them. So I will be around. Good luck.

That may be bad I hope that you caught it in time that would really suck. Think I might try to get some of there seed but if you hav that many male thats a lot of money for that small of a grow.

So bout time for an update.
of the 7 plants, 6 have shown their sex. 4 male, 2 female.

I plan on collecting pollen from the strongest male. can I just pull off those pods and put them in a bag and squeeze them when I want pollen to brush on a femal bud?

pictures are of the females and the undetermined one.
