Default First Grow- BC Juicy Fruit and BC Mango
This is my first grow. I'll use this first post to catch you up on what's happened so far.

I ordered BC Juicy Fruit, BC Mango and Purps from BCSeedKing.com. They had great customer service and I received my seeds promptly.

I'm starting this journal a little later in the grow so apologies if some details are fuzzy and the pics suck because I'm using my phone.

Here's what my grow will be using:
  • Two 8 bulb T5 hoods (6500k) for vegging
  • DarkRoom 5'x5' tent
  • 1000w HPS (Hortilux Super HPS bulb) for flowering
  • Fox Farm Ocean Forest for soil
  • Fox Farm Trio and solubles

Here's the veg area. It's been moved a little since this pic.

Here's the flowering tent and light

The light

So I received my seeds early July.

Here are the seeds.

After germinating 10 of each strain in a paper towel in a tupperware container on top of my cable box for 24 hours they all had popped a tap root. I put them into rockwool. Being a complete noob I didn't PH it. I also made the complete idiot mistake of using a small amount of Botanicare's PowerClone thinking it would help the germinated seeds take root.

You can see some of them in the background drooping over. There were 2 heat waves that week and I hadn't gotten my control of the room temperature down at all. I lost alot of the seedlings.

I transplanted the survivors after I found taproots under the rockwool cubes into I think 1/3 gal containers. There were a few purps left at this point but they didn't last long. Don't ask me why I individually tagged them, trying to be cool and organized I guess lulz.

What I was left with was 8 Juicyfruit and 4 Mango. I blame this on my being a complete noob and making lots of mistakes, but I learned alot. The remaining plants have been growing and doing well.

Bigger...

Little timewarp...and they're bigger...

And bigger now w/ little rockwool cube graveyard of the deceased. R.I.P my babies!

And bigger! (sorry to be repetitive just alot of catching up)

Ok. So here's the current state of my plants w/ pics taken today.

Ugh sorry, I'm an idiot and took the pics sideways. Hope you don't have a neck brace on heh.

I added some reflectix around the plants to increase lumens on them.

Lift up the flap and...

They're so droopy. I don't know why, they were droopy yesterday so I watered them. Usually they perk right up but they didn't this time.

There are my bigger ones. They are the droopiest of all of them.

More droopiness

And my runt. I didn't know if this one was going to make it, I had to clip off both of its first leaves because they died and it was WAAAAY behind all the others for so long. Now it's catching up in size and it's actually one of my healthiest looking plants. I'm all attached to it now heh. I wish I had taken a pic of it last night because it was all perked up when the others were droopy but now it's startin to droop a little too

Why are they getting so droopy? I have been keeping the temp consistently between 70 and 80, mostly in the upper 70's when the lights are on and lower 70's when they are off. The humidity is usually around 50%, give or take 5%.

When I watered them last night I noticed little root tips growing around the holes in the bottom of the containers. They were small and only a couple. Does this mean it's time to transplant or should I wait till there's alot?

It's going amazing actually. 3 weeks into flower now, they are looking awesome! I have been taking regular pictures but like I said my SDcard is not working currently so I am unable to get them onto here. Makes for a super lame grow journal, I know. Sorry! Anyways. I really, really, REALLY like my mango plants! They grow really easily and they seem to be producing alot of bud sites compared to my BC Juicy Fruit (sativa dominant so they are super stretchy). I would recommend them for a first time grower or for anyone . Thanks for posting.

Tonight I'm going to fiddle with my SDcard some more. If I can't get it to work then I get paid tomorrow and I'm buying a new one! So pics coming tomorrow at the latest if all goes as planned, hang in there!

Any updates? I'm going to be trying the BC Mango & Purps, so I'd love any advice you can give
