So im starting my 2nd grow:

I currently have 10 plants about 2 inches away from 2 floursecent tubes i bought at home depot that are meant for plants. Will most likely keep them on for 24 hours a day, maybe 20.

My old grow is 2 months into flowering and will be done soon...when the new ones are ready i will be putting them under 10-15 27 watt blue spectrum cfls for veging

When flowering time comes i will probably be putting them under 15 red spectrum cfls ( what my girls are under now)

For nutes i have the three pack from fox farm which includes open sesame, beastie blooms and cha ching...

And my grow box is around 3' x 3' x 5.5'h, with a cheap exhaust fan from home depot really only for the heat, a fan blowing on them and the light setup

here are some pics of my current grow and the new girls...but this is definatley a journal only for the 2nd grow.

wow, awesome looking ladies! im growing with cfls and floros and i dont hear to many positive things about them. but damn yours are looking sweet. where did you pick up the blue and red spectrums? how long did you have the flowering ones in veg? looking good man...

thanks, you should check out the cfl subgroup, join the R.C.C(Rollitup CFL Crew), theres plenty of people to talk to about them... i get all my lights at home depot or lowes. im nto exactly sure how long i veged them for since it was my first grow i didnt pay enough attention to the calendar, this 2nd grow i will, but if i had to guess i'd say they veged for a month or so... do you have a grow journal or any pics?

Awesome.. Im definately going to check out the R.C.C., thanks for the info man. yeah I have a grow journal with some pics. I just changed things around last night with my set up. I made a few newbi mistakes like I used tin foil and a few other things. lol, Im going to take some pics and update my journal in a few mins. Ill post the link .. cool man, to be honest I had no idea you could buy red spectrum cfls, lol... thanks again for the R.C.C. group info...

Wow, nice looking plants. That's very impressive for using CFLs lol. What strains are those first pictures?

thanks, no idea what strain, just some really nice bud that i think someone must have left a male around too long and i ended up with an oz of it...so i took the seeds and started my first grow.
