Photo Grow Journal: ICE

DAY 1

hello everyone, i received a clone of a strain named ICE, and i plan on vegging it out and hopefully getting more clones.
under 4 white cfls and then later in the grow an additional 4 red CFL's in a grow cab with good ventilation. the Temp for Day 1 was a bit high, but the intake air was also high, most my plants have grew with high 70's temp's, but this one seems a bit more sensative to the heat, on day 1 the temp was 83 to 78 with the intake air being 83 and no idea how to cool intake air, any ideas? here is a picture of the plant on day 1.

DAY 2:

the temps are down now, the intake air is also naturally cooler, its actually quite cold outside as well. the temps are down to 70-73 and the heat stress is lessening. here are some pictures, new nodes have grown over night, also the lights are on for 24 hours until i pick up a timer tonight.

Day 3 : during the night i hooked up my timer and now my plants are growing in 18/6 and the temp during the night dropped down to 60 and has worked its way up to 66 since 1 am to 11:50 am, ill post pictures later, im going to go out and look for some flowering nutes for another plant.

temps are a bit better, good until about 4pm then it stays too hot until 8 pm then it cools down again for the night, im going to add fertilizer in a few days, just a little bit.

that is the poster child for a happy clone i've always wanted to try ice, i hear its heady. + rep

thanks, ive never tried it either, hopefully the branches are nice and im able to get alot more clones from it.

the box was a little hot today, i have the plant a tiny ammount of 20-20-20 because it was turning purple on the stems and it cleared up a bit. im going to make the intake hole bigger and get a better fan for it tomorrow. just smoked some god bud about to blaze sour D

i added more water with just a small ammount of nutes to the soil, and i also cut the intake hole bigger and put in a bigger fan, some of the leaves are growing upside down ???? pics soon

Ice is a very hearty plant! Good luck with her. I have grown ice for a little over a year. I love it, and I get a grapey smell and taste out of some phenotypes. Fantastic.

gotta tell you , this is a cold loving plant.. i run mine at 60 65 and it loves it, i found its a light feeder as well. it went balistic in soil with 1100 ppm.. but heat above 75 the girl will show her discontent with rolling over heat stress leaves. i know its an old post here but this is what mine look like at 9wks flowering..
