im new to this site and joined for this sole reason, my new grow. as you can see im currently in a bit of a technical delema. no camera use just yet but soon enough. sadly i dont even have anything to post as an avitar. ill come up with something for the time being. not too new to growing. have had many closet grows when i still lived with my parents. now ive moved out so i have an attic to work with. this should be fun. got some supplies today. by the way this is all going to be extremely low budget. 7/16 OSB. my box plans are 4 foot high 2 foot wide and 8 foot long. thus it is not going to be a super large grow. something that can accomidate my 4 standard shop light flourescents with grow bulbs for veg and cloning on 4 feet of the box. then the sectioned off 4 feet on the other side would be used for flowering. i think i even found out a pretty good way to ventilate both sides seperately. odor isnt an issue. another great thing about this place. i cant wait to post some pics. should be fully constructed by tomorow. spent today cutting and getting pieces into the attic secretively haha. tommorow more cutting because the stairs are so narrow i found i couldnt get a 4 foot piece ub the spiral staircase. it will be fully constructed tomorow besides for the fans and the lights and reflective on the flowering room which im taking my time to set up since it wont be in use for a little while. like i said low budget. goal for tomorow. box erected, lights hung, reflection, go check prices on fans, cut holes for fans, pots, soil, camera camera camera. once i get some pictures up itll be easier for you guys to give some advice which im hoping ill get i need it. thanks guys. happy smoking! tuneinturnondropout

if your tight for money maybe you could do a CFL grow and once you get more money you can improve your grow. When I start I'll prob have a super cheep setup till I get things setup

yea thats what i was planning on doing. using my tubes for ved and cfl's for flowering. i was looking at the lights on the market section up top and they have a 400w thats just a regular bulb and puts out 38,000 lumans initially. 50 bucks. thats just over the amount of lumens i would need. hps and mh just arent possible unfortunately enough

nice , I live close to a hydro shop so I can pick up a 1,000w HPS and or MH for around $90 CND but I won't be going with any of thoes since that would be way to much for power draw

wow your pretty lucky. my leg room is 4 high by 4 long and 2 wide. im gonna need something like 24000 lumens. thats a lot of cfl's
