lol, you don't miss a thing, do ya
was just tired last night and forgot to slap them on for the posing
i went with 8" diameter tubes so i can fit the spreaders in there
they're here, ill snap a few later on today for you guys

Ya know, I was going to say something about the lights but wanted to keep my mouth shut - I am glad I did

I was just asking my guy at the hydro shop about cool tubes. He said he had one going and disliked it because it seemed to focus the light along the bottom of the tube and create hot spots. I guess that is where the diffuser comes in?

yep
factored all of these in, when envisioned this few months back
the reason i went with 8" and not 6" (as most do) diameter on the tubes
the super spreaders fits inside the tube and eliminate the hot spot

the best of both worlds incorporated in one design

I use 600 HPS in a 6" cooltube with a medium wing and no diffuser...
Never had an issue... though I cannot say I have the appropriate equipment to look for hot spots...

Seems like it would be over kill to have the cool tube AND the diffuser...

Are you not concerned about blocking the light ? and yes I am familiar with the product...

Sorry for my dumbass comment on the diffuser there... but I have heard heated arguments both for and against...

i am more then convinced though they will work perfectly for my application
as for light loss I'm not to worried; ill be running 4x1000 in a closed tent (10x10), i am actually expecting light loss
my concept eliminate as much loss as possible, and evenly distribute the existing
