Did anyone else think the Hendo fight was stopped prematurely ? Is the othe guy in the pic Alexander Emelianenko ? What ever happened to him ? He was pretty mean too. I think the last time I saw him fight was in Affliction. I love the post by New Strain above on 3-10-11 ^^^^ LOL Great call, but he did make it in.....barely.
nah, I don't know who that guy with fedor is. alexander is bigger than fedor and has prison tattoos all over his body, lol. and I kinda felt the hendo/fedor match was stopped prematurely.

He's retired, or supposed to be as of now, but some think he's just trying to get away from m-1 global, and is eventually gonna sign to the ufc.

People voted in the poll all August on the PVT homepage, and chose the Russian as the greatest of all time, with 73% of the votes. "Spider" stuck way behind, with only 12% of the votes. I'm still of the opinion that Fedor purposely lost his 2 Strikeforce fights. Why? 1. He stuck his head out twice to let Werdum get the sub, and 2. His extremely untrustworthy, crooked manager V. Finkelstein. I grew up on Fedor in Pride and he was not the same guy who fought in Strikeforce. He was an 8-1 favorite against Werdum, imagine how much he woulda made putting a cool mil on Werdum to win! Anyway, only my opinion, but, when I told this "opinion" to the one and only pro-wrestling trainer Lance Storm (who is a bigger MMA fan than wrestling) he couldn't disagree with it.

(*welcome to the group btw!*) I'll tell ya a lil story: I had a relative down, who was into mma, the night of the Fedor/Werdum fight, and was telling her how bad ass Fedor was and how he was just this totally awesome death machine that no one could beat yadda yadda yadda......and we turn the fight on and Fedor gets subbed in the 1st! I was embarrassed as hell to have spoken so highly of him and for that to happen. And I wondered how the fuck it coulda happened as easy as it looked!?! But yea....in his prime that motherfuker was quite literally the baddest dude on earth!
