And in what comes as no surprise to anyone: Josh Barnett wins by 1st round submission (side choke) over Sergei Kharatonav (spelling?)to advance to the HW GP finals where he and Cormier will face each other for the HW GP Championship. Yea I hope they don't replace him w/ another alternate. I think Overeem being cut cause he wouldn't fight as early as 9/10 was just a game Dana and co. ran on to get Alistair out of his Strikeforce obligations and into the UFC, but I don't think they'll put the rush job on the finals. Surely they'll want this to be the finals match: Barnett v Cormier. Otherwise what's the point ya know? Prolly happen sometime in early jan. That gives Cormier enough time to recuperate and get in a full camp PLUS it'll prolly be the last time we see a strikeforce show since the showtime contract runs out in feb.!

Sorry I aint been on here doing updates or anything much, but there's not been a whole helluva lot goin on in the mma world really. which is weird cause there's shows coming up for like the next month, month and a half of weekends. Theres a few things going on, the whole Diaz fuck up situation, Overeem v Lesnar and the Fox deal, new season of TUF coming up, and the fight night at the weekend. Cant wait to Overeem in the UFC.

I know from what Bisping's been saying in interviews, they had a lot of friction so I can't wait to see it unfold and then the fight!
