Im new at growing and don't have much space to work with and was wondering how to keep my plants small but still get good bud to smoke. im only like four days into growing so far.
that would all depend on the strain. for sativa you might want to flower alot sooner depending on estimated weeks to finish out flowering. indica stay pretty stout and short so you can let them veg longer before flowering and they will not stretch as bad as the sativa ones once they hit the 12/12 light cycle. what area are you trying to contain them in so i can tell ya a suggested heighth.

A great way to keep your grow short and still get incredible results is to main-line. If you search main-lining in the search field you will get some great reads on that method. It will allow you to have a good veg time and all your tops will be the same height and relatively yield the same amount. Plus all the height savings you could ever imagine!
