A friend gave me 2 seeds, planted them in organic soil and they sprouted, (satiivas) its been about 5 weeks (1 week indoors) I mostly planted to see if they would take, but I've had some heath problems over the last 3 years and haven't been able to work or do much of anything including gardening, so between that and my fondness for the occasional buzz I thought it would be a decent hobby. So I proceeded to make the most ghetto grow room ever. A 33"x 34" construction paper lined room complete with 6 23 watt (6500K) CFL's and a reflector hood I made from wire hangers and more badass construction paper and they are doing fine, except for some yellowing caused by over watering. I'm not looking to get "crazy ass buds" just harvest a few buds and improve for the next grow, if I decide too, etc. Anyone ever "grown on the fly" like this and have moderate success? Any info from when to flower, how long, tips and advice from beginners and experts appreciated. P.S. I'm gonna try scrog
you can veg anywhere from 3 or 4 weeks to a couple months, just depends on how big you want the plants to get. i like to go about 5 weeks and then switch to flowering, my plants under cfl's get about 3 to 4 feet tall.
