I recently added some Miracle grow to some 10 days old. The leaves distorted and has slowed down next leaves to come through. All energy went into leaves already in place. suggest waiting until 3rd nodes starts, before using Miracle grow or any other Groth accelerators. It appears i have put the plants back a little.
That all depends on the ppm of the nute soultion used. On seedlings, the nute strength should be no stronger than 500/600 ppm. But honestly, you shouldn't need to nute a seedling. The soil should sustain the seedling though it's first two weeks of growth. After that, on day 19, I give them one dose of veg. nutes @ a ppm of 920. Then I switch to bloom nutes. But you can't nute them with the amounts suggested on the bottles. It's to high and you will burn them.
Here's a ppm settings one should use.
I am going to have to wait to see if they start developing again. They could start growing tall before the leaves start to grow again. Fuck
Just give them a good water only bath w/spray bottle. They'll come right out of it. Or flush the soil if you nuted there.
They seem to be slowly coming around, but you live to learn dont you. My 4 weekers have been in a growing frenzy since I sprayed them with M-G. I will know better next time.
Yeah, we learn as we go. Usually when a plant is stressed, it takes about a week for them to come out of it. The only thing is to watch for any hermi's. Probably wont, but just keep an eye on her for a while man. Glad to here your back on the growing road with her.
I never spray the plant with anything unless I'm just washing her off. They say you shouldn't have to if your nuting the soil. But we all have our own methods of growing and yours seems to work. So good job. Just be careful not to over nute them again. Later.
I do know that if you are leaf feeding you need clean the leaves every other week with plan ph balanced water. You can and will clog the pores and stunt the growth of the plant and if not done at all it will cause it to die. Just like suffocating someone with a plastic bag!
Cheers Right ok!
Dusty, I'm not sure about the stoma's clogging unless your using a sugar based spray like molasses. I did some research and found that regular nutes wont clog the pours. But the sugars (if used) will.
That is some times true. But I learned in school that when people make tea's and even just MG that you put in water will clog the pours. If u ever have notice the leaves being shiny its from the filler in the nutes. And from the tea's norm you"ll see a dullness or a haze left on the leaves that's from the concentration of the nutes. Thanks to Ms. Shaffer botany class senior year.......... wow she was smoke hot and I won't forget shit I learned in her class.......lol
