What ever happened to live and let live, or sticks and stones. Why does everyone care what others have to say today? I believe America just loves to bitch and moan about anything and everything. People are upset over seeing lights on peoples house, why do the lights offend them or is just the fact that they are called Christmas lights.

My motto is I mind my own business and wish others would do the same so they wouldn't be minding mine. :) Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Kwanzaa regardless I wish everyone to enjoy everyday no matter what race, creed or religion! Can't we all just get along?

well it is on A&E, which is nearly as gay-centric as Bravo.

besides Inside The Actor's Studio, and the occasional actual art film, i dont even watch A&E any more since they discontinued Biography.

just like The History Channel, which long ago stopped playing shows about history in favour of cheap "reality" programming and bugnuts bullshit like "Ancient Aliens".

remember when MTV played music videos?

really, they used to do that, all the time, before they became just another shit "reality" TV station.

1. What a terrible idea to have a politics forum on RIU. This only serves to divide people who otherwise have something in common

2. This whole DD thing can be summarized thusly:

Racist homophobe hillbilly gets fired from show for spouting racist homophobic remarks. Racist homophobe hillbillies everywhere get mad.

3. Fuck what this guy said about gays, what he said about blacks being happier during segregation is just, wow. Dude is beyond fuckin dumb if he believed that and anyone looking up to this guy as some kind of role model is twice as dumb.

4. This seems like a ratings ploy to me. I see a lot of DD episodes featuring gays and blacks and awkward attempts at "sensitivity" in the future!

I think the word "offended" is for little girls and sissies.
Lefties get so worked up about Christians and their beliefs it's pathetic. Most lefties don't believe in God anyway, why in the hell would they be offended by something they don't believe in, in the first place?

It's just another excuse to snivel and whine if you ask me.

IMO, they're just living their life the way the want bro.
Just because you and I may disagree with how they live and what they say, doesn't mean they have to walk on eggshells through life.
I can't stand Bill Maher and some of the atrocious things he says, it doesn't offend me though, I just don't take anything he says personal, kinda like UncleBuck.

Well, marriage is a sacrament. That is really all that statement means. That does not mean that everyone who gets married lives perfect lives. We are all sinners, falling short of the glory of God.

I think of what Westboro Baptist Church came to my family member's funeral. I'd beat their ass. So I can understand how some queer must feel when some bible waver harrasses them. And it brings a me a smile thinking of a limp wristed fellow beating them unconscious with that same sanctity book.
