Looking great FJG. If one of the mains gets ahead of the others don't be afraid to crop her a bit and slow her down. I don't go extreme, just a light pinching here or there. Looking forward to watching em fill in. Peace

Hello all, today is Day 8 of 12/12, the gnats seem to be under control i used gnatrol WDG for the babies and yellow sticky traps for the adults, still one or two around but much better... They are continuing to stretch at a sturdy rate, the Mazar x WR is starting to catch up with the Critical Kush's, I have been hesitant to super crop anything or pinch any, very nervous to do so, have one or two mains getting a bit higher than the others. Temps during day start from 74F low and go up to about 82F, with the occasional 84F ... humidity is 30-50% and when lights out it could rise up to 59% sometimes 62% but that will be easy to manage bringing down. looking good i have a few ck clones that i'm wondering what to do with... i may try mainlining out on one of them to compare. you may be lucky to have a pheno similar to mine, i'm about 12 days ahead, done right she's really friggin potent.. most def keeping her going next few grows

newbie- yeah they will stay in these buckets, the only thing i should have done was start them in solo cups, then straight to the hempy 2 gallon, It most likely put me around 2 weeks behind.... so about 3 week extra veg time doing the Mainlining and LST treatments.

LGC- great to see you back brother hope all is well with your situation, and your getting back to it! Good to see you mate!

You can refer to me as whichever you'd like to. Had to choose a moniker, where if I ever create a strain, A good laugh will be in order lol, but thats years down the line.
I was surprised how many adult gnats the yellow tape caught within 2 days.

I can't remember the last time I had a totally gnat free grow. I'll get a stretch after bombing and bleaching, but they always come back. I use a standard fly strip, and I have a run-off catch tub and I'll leave water in it between waterings. It keeps them in check, but never gets rid of them totally. Benificial soil bugs are the only thing that will kill them. I've heard that a cap of fine play sand will keep the adults from getting out of the soil or coco and end the reproductive cycle, I've never tried it, just read about it.

The grow looks really good, I follow the ML principle, but only so far, I just don't have the patience to follow it to the letter. lol

Hey Watt,
I have read on gardening sites and regular flower shoppe homemade ways, and a lot of them say they cap with sand, and they seen it work wonders with the adult gnats, I just haven't seen nor heard anbody with cannabis doing it though. Thanks for checking in!

Looking good FJG. Sounds like you have the gnats in retreat. The Ck's are looking nice so far, I am picking CK 2 as my early favorite. Looking forward to seeing how she ends up. Peace

Hey all, Day 10 of 12/12 they are all showing white hairs, The Critical Kush's are all about 12.5-13 inches at the moment, and the Mazar x White Rhino is slightly smaller at 10.5 inches at the highest, a couple lower main's should even out by the stretch, I'm still hesitate to supercrop anything, since things are going well. I also took a couple pics of under the canopy and what I could (or my knees could handle) Happy Tuesday!:weed:
